We had fantastic service in the Turquoise restaurant each time we went, all the staff that served us were friendly and attentive. We always received excellent service at all of the bars

I had trouble when I arrived at the hotel, had payed 3000 dollars. But had to pay 1600 to reception at arrival. After 3 short phone calls, trip. com transfer the money I payed extra. Even before I got back to Norway

What stands out more than the hotel itself is the staff; they are incredibly respectful and helpful. In my opinion, the hotel is excellent, and the food is varied and pleasant.

Housekeeping was excellent, with rooms cleaned every day and fresh bed linen provided daily. The staff added a lovely Egyptian touch, folding towels creatively and beautifully — it really made the room feel special

The room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were excellent, caring, and very kind — especially a staff member named Reda who provided outstanding service

The coral reef near the hotel is also great for snorkeling. You can rent snorkels at the hotel. The food at the buffets is excellent, with a wide selection! Check-in was a bit slow, but otherwise the service was good

The experience was excellent. It's an all-inclusive hotel, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at the hotel. It's very close to the old town and the cliffside bars, highly recommended.

Booking a massage in the spa is an absolute must, this is one of the reasons I keep coming back… I’ve never had a massage like it! Whilst at the airport about to come home, our flight was cancelled and easyJet put us up in a lovely hotel in Nabaq Bay

They remembered us from when we stayed in May 2025, even down to names and one of my friends being South African (mind blowing when you think how many people they have met in the last 6 months)

Overall, the experience was not good value for the money paid, and I expected much better for a luxury brand like Rixos

Very tired hotel in need of a lot of maintenance, pools great rooms OK but in need of work, food very poor even speciality restaurants not good, and majority of staff lacking any warmth, overall not a great trip

The lack of cleanliness or hot watter issues did not affect our stay at all and never took away from our good mood

We stayed in room 1227 which gets plenty of sunshine on the balcony. Food was ok but some of the bar staff in the lobby could do with being a bit more pleasant towards guests. I would go back to this hotel

I wouldn’t say this hotel was five star for seven days we had no hot water for four days to lift didn’t work, but that’s the last of my complaints for anything that was wrong they compensated four fold

His continued care, along with his reassurance and professionalism, gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to still enjoy our holiday despite the situation. The kids’ club was the highlight of the stat

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. It’s a beautiful place with a great atmosphere, but there are still some things that could be improved, especially the food, which could be more professional and diverse

However, what truly made our vacation special was one person - Hossam. He was honestly the best staff member at the hotel

We spent most of our time by the pool, and thanks to him it was always clean, calm, and very comfortable. He was caring, attentive, and always made sure everything was perfect for guests

all the food area are amazing especially grill houses near the pool plus ice cream and waffle counter was really a treat everyday ( loved the pancakes ) managers were really good n helpful shout out for Ahmed mansur amazing guy ( manager )

the hotel service is really good loved the activities and it feels special ever time we at any pool or beach they came and ask if need anything so that i don’t move from my place for anything

Food was average at best—certainly not 5-star—although the à la carte Indian and seafood restaurants were excellent. The Pool 1 grill bar served some of the best burgers I’ve ever had

The TV signal was poor, the phone didn’t work (forcing us to climb stairs repeatedly to report issues), and while the shower was eventually fixed, it then flooded into the bedroom

Cocktails were particularly disappointing—basic knowledge seemed lacking—so we stuck to simple drinks. Entertainment was underwhelming, with low energy from both guests and staff

While the “White Party” and “House Party” were enjoyable, they were more suited to younger crowds rather than offering well-rounded entertainment

We tried amoura (Lebanese) our favourite, limoni (Italian) also amazing and sinfiran. You also have the option of the main buffet, pool side restaurants and beach restaurant

Food was amazing; it was fresh, plenty with multiple options but I had mixed feelings here and I won’t blame that on the restaurant as I am very peculiar about food taste

Upon arrival the hotel lobby is beautiful. We were greeted with fresh drinks and warm hospitality. Rooms are spacious and well kept, bear in mind there are no lifts

However, they have buggy’s to take you around which was the best thing ever! We had a lovely pool view. Food - there are 5 a la carte restaurants and depending on your stay you could try up to 3-5

Honestly if not the best hotel I stayed in!! The staffs are amazing and the food wow just wow! Stayed for 4 nights so had access to 3 A La Carte restaurants and when I tell you they were amazing

Our stay was made even better by interaction with the animation team, encouraging us to join in with games and activities, which were enjoyable and fun

You should put a couple of outdoor gyms somewhere with bars for calisthenics 5) there are more minor upsetting experiences, but I have no time to describe them all I think the best way to make your hotel better is to pay attention for details and try to implement new things

The gardens of the hotel place are beautiful. The animation team did a great job, joyful always with kids and adults, every mornings at beach doing activities, every evening doing a different show at amphitheater

Beach is good, there are two places to see fish, one is closer in ponton can even see lion fish and eel, but in the end of ponton, which is quite a walk 900 m is really spectacular coral Riff with a lot of different fish

His skill, sensitivity, and ability to tailor the treatment perfectly to my requests made the experience truly relaxing and beneficial. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had in a resort

Overall good hotel, food is great, especially for vegetarians. Really good cakes and pastries too

They give you to try 2 different a la carte restaurants during your stay, we choose Italian and Mexican, went to Italian at first, but don’t recommend because the food is pretty much the same as in main restaurant and you need to wait long, so in the end we didn’t go to Mexican

A special mention to Nikita, who was incredible throughout our stay—full of energy, always sweet with the kids, and very professional

Only downside is that from 7 days it was open only 2 because of high north winds. Staff is very friendly and helpful, there are so many workers taking care of everything all the time

There were many people, and we were the only Chinese guests here; everyone was a Russian VIP. The environment was okay, and the snorkeling conditions seemed alright without comparison

Grand Rotana is perfect, very big territory, a lot of palms. Corrals very beautiful. Animation team is the best. Food in a restaurant very tasty. Thank you for everyone in this hotel

Beach spots are limited, so you need to arrive early to secure a good spot. Some staff members were rude, and there was no hot water on our first night

The food was excellent; it was very varied, with meat and fish available daily to suit every taste. There were sometimes short lines at the restaurant, but they lasted no more than 10 minutes

Overall it's OK, the rooms are quite new, the swimming pool is large, the seaside scenery and snorkeling facilities are good. The service is OK, but not particularly attentive.

Loved the hotel and facilities although I think one visit a week to one of the three restaurants is a bit tight. The beach is ok but you will need beach shoes. The snorkel areas are good but get a bit busy

The excursions we went on were desert safari and an all day boat trip with snorkeling was good value. Service is excellent in the hotel but even better if you tip a few $ here and there

The different pools serve different needs - there's a quiet pool, a party pool, a kids pool (with a big slide). None of the pools had swim up bars though, and the kids pools didn't have shade, which sucked

We didn't do many of the restaurants because toddlers are a bit of a nightmare if they have to wait for courses. We went to the Indian one and it was amazing quality (even with a cranky toddler)

All in all, I would highly recommend this resort. Bonus is that it's 15 mins away from the airport, so after a long journey/flight over, you can quickly get to your resort and settle in

I will say, though, the Sharm El Sheikh airport feels inefficient - it took forever to get out of the actual airport after all the passport checks

Mohamed Shaarawy The Albatross Group is one of the best hotels I've seen in Egypt

This was our second stay at this hotel, and it continues to be excellent. The food selection is very varied, with grilled options available every evening and plenty of choices for vegetarians

Me and my new beautiful wife had the best Honeymoon ever. The Accommodation was absolutely fantastic. All the staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you

Drinks at the bar are of good quality with a wide variety available. Sunbeds are plentiful, so there’s no need to worry about availability

Hotel has ample activties for the whole family. Entertainment staff were freindly, especially Merekl. Room staff Wael Mahdy , went out of his way leaving a special towel design everyday and was very friendly

There are activities running throughout the day, so there’s always something to do and you never feel bored. The hotel grounds are cleaned frequently and are very well maintained

I really liked the snack bar near heated pool ,staff are great happy people ,was a pleasure to eat there ,cheese burger and chips were great ,liked the pizza selection too .

Most staff were lovely especially the staff in the restaurant - a special thanks to youssef. Some front desk staff can be a little more friendlier and smile often

The resort was lovely, had everything you needed from small shops to hair dressers and lovely staff. Plenty for kids to do and also for adults

With a bit of updating and maintenance, this could be improved significantly. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the combination of unfriendly service, mediocre food, and old rooms made for a disappointing visit

As for the rooms, they were outdated. The furniture and decor looked tired, and the overall condition made the stay far less comfortable than I had hoped

The presentation and quality were both impeccable. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, even in casual snapshots. The water quality for snorkeling was also excellent
