We have stayed at Giellajohka already three times, almost every summer, and it feels like this place is becoming a beloved part of our holiday traditions. The accommodation is always clean and well-priced. The owner family is friendly, and the restaurant serves delicious food. During our most recent stay this week, there was some misunderstanding with the booking, but it was handled so professionally and kindly by the owner that we left even happier.

Highly recommend! The place is the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy peaceful surroundings.. We look forward to coming back soon!

Our happy place here ☺️ Small campsite with everything, nice and clean toilettes and showers. The cottages by the river are wonderful. The food… super good and the breakfast buffet is a dream come true! We love it here ❤️

Just stopped at the cafe for a second breakfast as we had started biking early. The owner kindly allowed us just to take coffee and the fresh bread from the breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. It was very nice and we enjoyed the stop.
The inside was very nice and comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay at Giellajohka, a great hotel in Inari. Reindeer walking up to the cottage, surrounded by beautiful trees coated with snow, aurora viewing at night. A trip for the ages.

Nice place to stay for Northern Light. The owner and family are very friendly. And they do aurora alert every night if there's activity and clear sky. They also have fire in their teepee so you can warm yourself while waiting for aurora.
Their restaurant have good foods.
They also have other activities such as snowmobile safari, ice fishing and more.
Recommended place for Aurora hunters.

We felt at home right from the start. The surroundings, the peace and quiet, the food, the possibility to hire skis and snowshoes, the friendliness of all the staff and of course the northern lights and reindeer right on the doorstep. Simply a dream. We would love to come back and have already recommended it to others.
