The comfortable glass house was a surprise to me. You can lie on the bed and enjoy the changing northern lights in the night sky. It is really great and beautiful. The design of the house is very warm, and a hardcover chocolate gift box is provided for guests.

We were extremely excited for our stay at Levin Iglut, which had been part of a carefully planned family trip to Lapland arranged almost six months in advance. Unfortunately, due to the current conflict involving Iran and resulting airspace disruptions, our flights to Helsinki have been cancelled and we are now unable to reach Finland. Despite explaining the situation and providing proof of the airline cancellations, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility whatsoever. We were asking for the possibility to reschedule our stay, which is still more than three weeks away. Their only response was that we should “claim through travel insurance.” We don't have travel insurance. While we understand that hotels have cancellation policies, what was disappointing was the complete lack of empathy or willingness to find a reasonable solution for a situation caused by a war and airline cancellations beyond any traveler’s control. This trip meant a lot to our family and it was heartbreaking to realize we may not be able to go. A hotel positioning itself as a luxury Arctic experience should also show basic compassion and hospitality toward its guests. Sadly, the message we received was clear: policy matters more than people. For such an expensive, once-in-a-lifetime destination stay, this level of inflexibility is incredibly disappointing.

My husband and I stayed here in January, and it was the perfect end to our Finland trip. Waking up to the view of snow-covered trees and white everywhere was really special, and being fortunate enough to have the Northern Lights wrapping around and over our igloo, while in the warmth, was beyond words. Having spent weeks in Levi town beforehand, it was great to spend all our time at Golden Crown on the grounds. Can definitely recommend, 100 times over, booking the private sauna & hot tub, and dining at their own restaurant. The menu changes for those guests eating there each night, and the chefs choose the most incredible ingredients to cook with.

Our stay at the Golden Igloo in Finland was truly a 10/10 experience from beginning to end. The room was incredible — warm, cozy, and beautifully designed, with the glass ceiling creating a magical atmosphere at night. Watching the Northern Lights directly from our bed was simply unforgettable and honestly felt unreal. The food and restaurant were excellent, and the hotel menus were outstanding. Every meal was delicious and carefully prepared. The staff’s attention and hospitality were also perfect — everyone was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, and every detail throughout the stay was well thought out. This was a dream experience and, in our opinion, one of the best places anyone could choose when visiting Finland. We would absolutely come back again.

An example of how an ideal hotel should be organised. Clear messages in advance, help in transport from the airport, advice in excursions. Hotel room was nice, efficiently organised. Coffee, thee, milk were available in the room. Iglos were well heated, windows remained clear after snowing, and one of the main assets was the silence. We also enjoyed the restaurant Utsu very much ! Levi Igloos is clearly a place to come back !

What a fantastic stay we had for my 40th birthday in a suite igloo. From the very first email to everything during our stay, Levin Iglut were fantastic and seamlessly helped us plan our whole itinerary, from tours, airport transfers and dinner at the onsite restaurant - the food was fantastic during our stay and they change the menu for you each night. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights twice during our stay and temperatures were a brisk -40 whilst we were there! We also had breakfast in our igloo one morning which was worth doing. The suite igloos are an expensive option, but well worth the money, especially if you are celebrating a milestone birthday or anniversary as I was. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Please read my review to the end. We stayed in the Igloo and it was absolutely lovely, very clean, very warm and cosy. The staff were all lovely, always smiling and very welcoming 😁 The view of the northern lights were unbelievable, absolutely amazing 😍 We spent a couple of hours in the hot tub and made a fire in the hut and with the snow outside its just amazing to do. We explored the whole are which we enjoyed. The location is perfect not far from the airport and a 15min ride to Levi town. The only thing I would suggest for this place is entertainment. There are only the igloos and the restaurant so something extra would be even better. Also the food! There needs to be more options for food. I am a very picky eater and I couldn't eat anything on the menu. (Lucky I took food with me) Also for breakfast all I ate was the bread. I would recommend this place and I would definitely come back here again but I would also recommend bringing snacks.

Golden Crown Levin Iglut is an absolute dream! We stayed in the glass igloos for one night, and it was a magical experience from start to finish. The igloos are cozy, well-designed, and offer an incredible view of the Northern Lights right from your bed. Watching the aurora dance across the sky while being tucked in a warm, glass bubble was an experience I’ll never forget.
The service was excellent, and the location feels like a winter wonderland—secluded, peaceful, and perfect for stargazing. The heated glass ensured clear views despite the cold temperatures outside, and the amenities were just what we needed for a comfortable stay.
If you’re looking for a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Arctic, I can’t recommend Golden Crown Levin Iglut enough! Definitely a bucket list item checked off in style. 🌌
