My room was actually bigger than in 4 stars hotels, where I lived. Two chairs and a table, writing desk and a chair, nice bathroom with a bathtub, electric kettle and fridge, iron with an ironing board.
Comfortable bed, good pillows, a blanket was too warm for my liking.
Great view of the grand synagogue right across the hotel.
My girlfriend had originally booked a different hotel, but for some reason we were placed at Hotel Imperial Paris. On the second night, we came back to the hotel only to find two men waiting for us in the lobby – the owner and the concierge. They claimed we had to pay for the room, even though the full amount had already been charged to the credit card two days earlier.
They had blocked our key cards, so we couldn’t even access our belongings. The whole situation felt incredibly uncomfortable and borderline threatening. This was something that should have been settled between the two hotels, not taken out on us as guests.
This is absolutely not how you treat people staying at your hotel. I’m glad I didn’t give in and pay again, because I would’ve ended up paying double. Unprofessional, not guest-friendly, and definitely not a place I would recommend.
The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was well maintained and the water was good and hot when you needed it.
The room was cleaned and the bathroom stocked with fresh towels every evening when we returned.
There's not much else we could expect from a hotel.
The staff were helpful and kind.
