Hotel Mediterranee in Lourdes

one of the worst hotels I’ve been at.

I get to the hotel and I had specifically had it booked for an 11:00am check in. They said the room wasn’t ready yet. We had to wait and go out shopping and we didn’t get our rooms till around 2:00pm. what a joke
The lobby downstairs is full of flies and ants, disgusting.
There was also a leak in the corridors on my floor.

The walls of the rooms are so thin you can hear anything. From downstairs some grown adults where blasting out music and I was unable to sleep at all.
The toilets also don’t have any locks. How stupid. What fool would design something like that.
If you don’t know any french using the TV will be a struggle for you unfortunately.

The other guests are so rude and heartless. I get into the lift with some fellow freinds and an rude, selfish woman says to us “why are you guys getting the lift leave it for the older people” “it’s people like you jumping and breaking the lifts” something like that. I felt like reporting her but chose not to.

Unfortunately the cutlery isn’t really washed well, the cups given to me had some food markings on them.
Rooms could be slightly bigger and could include a fridge and maybe teacups and teabags.

Only stay at this hotel if you like rude guests, ants and flies around no sleep at night or dirty cutlery.

We really did not like this place, the rooms are small, the front desk is not always there, you have to wait for someone to show up, the restaurant is by reservation only, the 3 days that we were here we did not get to try the restaurant at all. This hotel is about 10 minute walk to the sanctuary, there are much better hotels that are closer and have better rates. They don’t offer shuttle to the sanctuary or the airport. Nobody helped us with our luggage or the wheelchair. The room did not have much amenities either, there’s nothing special about this hotel, the hotel Alba next door is better, we were able to eat at their restaurant.

For sure is not a 4 star Hotel.
We could hear all sounds from the other room. We had a triple room with no space even to open the bags.
But the worst was the breakfast, almost no option to eat, not even scrambled eggs. There were queues for everything, all tables were dirty. We asked them to clean and they did nothing. When we opened the boiled eggs, it was smelly and with a bad color.
They were also trying to charge us two cokes that the other group was drinking last night, not us.
Really unpleasant visit, I do not recommend.
