Hotel Paradis in Lourdes

We just stayed a couple of days ago and the room and service we received were not up to par. The room we've got doesn't even look like the ones in the pictures. In all honesty I couldn't wait for checkout time to leave the hotel
Location: Within walking distance to the sanctuary so, that is the only plus.
Rooms: musty smell, rundown, in dire need of renewal. Dirty, Got to the hotel at checking time and room wasn't ready. We had to wait for room to be "cleaned up" which it never was as there was hair all over the bed, night stand and bathtub. If you want the A/C on, you have to call reception to have them activate it. The bathroom has pipes exposed, dirty filter. It is a very small room for a queen size bed suite, bed took almost all the space.
Food: Frech cuisine at its worst! Dining room overcrowded. Crammed beyond capacity. You couldn't seat comfotably to eat and had to squeeze between two tables to seat. It was so crowded that servers had to overreach across the table to serve food. Servers heavily smell of sweat, almost as if they bathe once or twice a week and use no deodorant. So you see the problem with over reaching!
Lights on stairs switch off automatically and never turn back on unless you turn them on manually so, br careful if you take the stairs as I almost fell down.
All in all, not worth it. There ate better options.

The hotel has seen its best days and needs an uplift. The hotel presents as old and tired. Across the entire group we were disappointed with the quality of the food served during meal periods. Finally, specifically in our room, the TV did not connect to a signal.

Dirty & smelly room and beddings.The BUFFET food did not taste good.The Hotel was full and the other elevator was OUT OF SERVICE that we have to wait sometimes up to 20 minutes to get to our room at the 5th floor. Service was good and the staffs were very nice and helpful.Avoid this place until they make changes for the better.
