Friendly and helpful staff. Cosy communal areas but courtyard has no views of surroundings/high walls. Clean and spacious dining rooms. Very comfortable beds. Shower pressure was good and double sinks. Has plenty of wardrobe space with a decent number of hangers. The road outside the main entrance is fairly busy and is on abit of a hill. Coaches cannot park outside the main entrance, if you try the police will be there moving you off very quickly (see picture)

Internet is not reliable. The hotel has internet but is always down -- do NOT rely on it. Parking is safe, its in a private secured garage about 20 meters from the hotel and would cost you 18 euro per day. But its worth it. The staff are good and hospitable. Other than with the problem with the internet, the hotel would have been very good.

We stayed for 5 days in this hotel and everything was perferct we went wit a group which was organised by Tony and Mark from Barrhead travel Clydebank. Hotel was clean and beds very comfortable . we will definatly be back.

Hotel needs an exorcism - its tired dirty the wifi wasnt strong enough to get, hotel was noisy, shower not hot. I would just not bother.

Rooms are simple and not very luxurious but comfortable. Wi-fi was very bad in the rooms but worked fine at the reception. Personnel was very kind and flexible to fit our needs (offering us pasta as a Belgian group after we became jealous of other Italian groups + special credits to Stefan for passing on our preference for salad without vinaigrette) location very accessible at around 5min from the sanctuary.

I'm just back from a long weekend stay in the Astoria du Vatican. A first class and flawless service from all staff, from the moment of my arrival to day of departure. Dinners in the restaurant were fantastic, the table service impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. My room was an ensuite, and it was cleaned daily and was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located beside the airport shuttle bus stop and the town centre. A most enjoyable experience that I would recommend.... and I will be staying there again!

The hotel is lovely with helpful reception staff. Room was clean and comfortable with hair dryer. No tea/coffee making amenities. We paid for breakfast on the first day however, I wouldn't recommend as its very basic. You could get fresh baguettes etc outside. Great location, it's less than 10mins walk to the basilica & 6mins to Chateau Fort. Many restaurants outside of hotel. The airport shuttle stops in front of Paradis hotel which is a few mins walk from the hotel. It's 3 euro pp. We were allowed to keep our bags after check out, which was very helpful. The hotel has a bar with availability of hot drinks. I would stay here again for it's location and hospitality.

They charged me 8€ for an espresso!?!? 😠 These are the kinds of prices I would expect to see in Cannes at the height of festival, not in Lourdes at the beginning of winter.

I came here specifically for the food. I really enjoy the seafood rice from Spain; it's delicious and comes in a generous portion. However, the language barrier is a challenge as it appears they don't speak English. FYI, they do accept card payments.

Our stay at Hotels Vinuales during our pilgrimage to Lourdes was wonderfully surprising. Despite being redirected from Hotel Sainte Rose to Hotel Saint Sauveur due to renovations, the transition was smooth, and we felt well taken care of.

Access to Hotel La Solitude's indoor pool and the discounts offered at the chain's restaurants and shops were delightful bonuses. The hotels' proximity to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes made our spiritual journey convenient, and the cleanliness enhanced our enjoyment.

Visiting Lourdes was an awe-inspiring experience—one that everyone should have. The peace and tranquillity we found there have left a lasting impact on us. We eagerly anticipate reliving these cherished moments on our next visit.

The hotel all in all was great. The rooms were nice, clean and organised. However, the beds were a bit stiff. They had really good air conditioning and the showers were amazing. Plus, cleaners would come in every day to clean it and give us new towels. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the wifi. As soon as you come in, on a colum in the reception there is a poster that says “high speed WiFi”, however at the ground floor you only get a max of 40MB/s and in the room we were in which was the 7th fooor, we only got 2MB/s. For 2 nights the 3 of us paid a total of £293, which did include breakfast. I do think it is a bit overpriced, but if the wifi was as good as they said it was, I would have given them a higher rating.
