Horrible experience with my stay. I originally booked due to having no access to my apartment and thus needed a place to stay in for 3 weeks. Let me say, absolutely horrible. We arrived at 9:15 to the hotel, with obviously no staff available at check-in. Initially, this is no problem, however the machine that is supposed to be there for after-hours check-in CRASHED while we tried to pay for our night. We had to stand outside the hotel in the middle of the night because of the computer crashing. Second, when we entered the hotel there was a weird smell of fish in the hallways. The room is not bad for a 4 day stay, but let me warn you in saying it is TINY. When they say budget, they stretched out the meaning of the word. My family and I have stayed at other ibis hotels before, even other ibis budgets, but this has had to be by far the worst one I have been to. It has been 1 night and I already plan on checking out tomorrow and demanding for a refund. Please do not waste your money here unless you are truly on a tight budget, because I have to say that you do not even get what you pay for.

Really surprised by all of these wonderful reviews. Yes. This is a “budget” hotel, but budget does not excuse mold. Budget does not excuse lack of reception service, and budget does not excuse NO PARKING (unless you ride maybe a scooter, you might fit in the parking area). This, without exaggeration, was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, anywhere in the world.

We arrived to find our car would not even fit down the road to the parking garage. Attempting to back up because there was a sign stating you must check in before parking. Ok, go to front door - LOCKED. greeted with flyers on the doors stating “no reception except for these hours”, “self check in kiosk only”, etc. Attempting to figure out the check in kiosk, a man with a beer comes over to try and help. Turns out he is a “friend” of the owner but actually lives in the hotel with his dog. His dog is not friendly towards other dogs and escaped twice in the lobby. He even stated himself that it would “not be good” if his dog was around another dog. I cannot explain the chaos in this hotel. There’s so much confusion and NO ONE to help. Fast forward to the second day, we go to the beach and come back only to find our code expired to get into the lobby door. Turns out, you must check in EVERY DAY at the kiosk. We didn’t bring our wallets because we were at the beach. So our wallets were locked in our room. There was luckily a cleaning lady there that was nice enough to let us in our room to get our wallet to check in at the kiosk for our second night. I’m not sure what we would have done if she didn’t help us because again - there is NO RECEPTION for most of the day.
When I tell you I have never been happier to leave a hotel. 😒

Pros:
- nice view
- decent balcony
- Air conditioning

Cons:
- No reception until after check in hours begin (reception comes around 5 pm)
- No parking unless you drive a 2 door coupe or a scooter maybe.
- Mold all over the bathroom
- No shower curtain or door, so the bathroom flooded every time someone showered
- Uncomfortable beds
- Most confusing check in system ever, with no one to help
- Sink water smelled like sulfur (brushed teeth with bottled water)
- far walk to main city area (20-25 minutes)
