Chanteclair Hotel in Cannes

well, the location is very central, the room was nicely clean and tidy. however, keep in mind that if you’re sharing the bathroom with other people, they may not be really clean or respectful. i wouldn’t say this is the fault of the hotel, but yeah, keep that in mind.

the front desk is quite helpful and nice. if you’re looking for a place to sleep for the night, yeah, this is it. nothing more though.

Great stay at Chanteclair with friendly host Pascal. The location is perfect. We loved breakfast in the peaceful courtyard. Yes, it’s a basic hotel, but it’s clean and excellent value for the centre of Cannes. Thanks Pascal (and Adam!)

good value for price.

The owner of the hotel is the sweetest and welcomed us warmly. The hotel itself is located in a calm side street and has a lovely terrasse/outdoorspace. The location is perfect, in 1 minute you are in between a lot of restaurants, in 9 minutes you are at a sand beach.

The breakfast is really good for 9€ pP. It includes french breakfast (baguette, croissants, marmelade, butter, coffee, orange juice, water). It is being served by the owner and you can eat outside.

The rooms themselves are tiny and the bed is not the best. There is no A/C - only a fan.

The friendliest and most welcoming hotel staff i’ve ever experienced! Super beautiful front garden and breakfast area, absolutely perfect place for a hotel, not too loud and close to everything nice in Cannes. The rooms aren’t luxurious but super pretty and more than great for the price. And there’s also a super friendly and cute dog who welcomes everyone. ❤️❤️❤️ Also very familiar atmosphere and no stress at all.

Reminded me of Fawlty Towers in the good way …

There's no half-singing in the shower, you're either a rock star or an opera diva.

Small but really nice room and really nice bathroom. Small but really in the heart of cannes Old town Center.... just 2 Minutes and you are in the middle of the harbour and Shopping area... and a very friendly owner... a perfect little french hotel. We love it.
Come with Small luggage. :)

Small shower, great host! Room is updated and cleaned daily, good location in the city and staff are great! Everything is great.

The place is really close to all the things you could want to see in Cannes.

The awesome posters in the Breakfast area ideally describe the soul of the place. I will not spoil them all, but one said "Indulge in luxury - it's just down the street". And that is more than right - if you look for luxury, it is not for you, but if place with soul, surrounded by small streets in the city center, friendly owner is something that you value for (so, you are a traveler, not a tourist looking for all-inclusive options) - definitely go there!

Beautiful place to stay, in a great location! No elevator though, and there seems to be at least 3+ floors. The owner is helpful in providing maps and such , along with a breakfast you can pay for separately, also prepared by the owner.
