Hotel Paganini in Nice

We actually had several problems in our room:
The air conditioning unit was faulty.
The window facing the street had a gap on the side, so we could hear all the outside noise.
The cleaning lady started making noise in the hallway at 7:00 AM on a Sunday (and to top it off, the room wasn't cleaned because when we returned to the hotel around 2:30 PM, it hadn't been cleaned, even though we had put a sign on the door; I had to ask for a clean set of towels).
The television was falling off the wall.
One of the walls in the room was completely dilapidated.
The bathroom shelf was completely swollen from the humidity and unusable.
We had no hot water on Sunday morning.
After reporting all these issues on Sunday, the hotel management offered us breakfast on Monday morning.

However, we received no refund because we had booked through an external booking platform.

I am therefore contacting Trip.com. Please lower the price and refund one of the two nights we paid for, because frankly we didn't sleep well and we were cold. Thank you.

Good location close to train station and 15 minute walk to the beach.
Staff need a lesson in manors , rude and unhelpful

Overall a decent stay here. Easy to walk to the city and beach. Bathroom doors were kind of wonky and wouldn’t slide properly sometimes.
