Three night stay with family to visit the Christmas markets.

Booked two rooms, one double and one triple for our adult daughters.

Location - very good. About a ten minute walk from the hotel to the main square of the Christmas markets. But as it is outside the main part of the old town across the river it is much easier to access. If you stay in a hotel in the central area bounded by the rivers, it can be difficult to access your hotel as the bridges are closed to cars including taxis and Ubers from 11am and all bags you have crossing the bridges will be searched. About a 10 minute drive from main train station although traffic can make this longer.

Rooms - in many years of travel across all continents including a lot in Europe I have never stayed in a smaller hotel room. It was tiny and even getting to the other side of the bed was a challenge. Note that this seems to be specific to one room on each floor, which is down the end of the corridor, can’t recall the number.

Breakfast - excellent. Plenty of choice of good quality food in a lovely cellar room
Service - reception was perfunctory at best, serviceable but nothing more

Would not stay again due to the risk of getting the tiny room but would be ok if those rooms could be avoided

The single room was spacious enough for one person. The photos online are better than the reality, especially what comes to bathrooms. Carrelage was broken on the floor so I assume there will be humidity at one point. No shampoo or conditioner available. The heating / cooling system did not function properly in the room. The receptionist kindly found me an extra blanket. Ear plugs would have been useful, as neighbours were loud coming to hotel at night. The breakfast was ok, but not standing out.

This is a good visit. The recent renovations are excellent. The location is perfect. The staff was very good and helpful. Many of the staff that I interacted with are students at the university. They were all bright, engaging and a joy to talk to. I will return.

Lovely hotel, in the walking distance from Cathedral and other attractions. Breakfast was quite good, personnel friendly. We liked it all.

I stayed for one night. The main things for me were the location near the center and the availability of breakfast. Both of these points were in this hotel, so I liked everything. The breakfast was variated, the dining area was large and comfortable, and there were no queues or crowds. The reception staff were very pleasant. The only small inconvenience were the room itself — there was no towel hook in the bathroom, and the room was quite small, but in my case this was not a problem. The positive aspects outweighed these shortcomings.

I had a booking for 2 nights at this hotel through Agoda.
2 days before I left for my holiday the hotel cancelled and refunded my booking stating "operational issues" which is a pretty poor excuse to be honest.

I checked Agoda again and the same room was still available at six times the price.
Obviously they wanted to cancel my booking as my price was lower due to booking in advance so they could re sell the room at a higher price during the Christmas period.

I would not trust this hotel if you want safe and secure travel plans.

There was a smell of smoke in the room. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from both the old town and the train station. The reception staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. Aside from the slight smoke smell in the room, I couldn't detect it on the bedding or pillows; it was likely absorbed by the curtains or other areas due to poor ventilation.

An ideal location for our one night stay in Strasbourg. Our room was small but sufficient for two people. Facilities were clean and the staff were kind. This was good value for money (booked early) and there was a grocery store right next door. Just noted that there is limited in room amenities (no kettle or tea/coffee or bottled water).
