Room was inexpensive considering the location near the train station and quiet neighborhood, and with adequate cafe and supermarket. Room was very nice and large for 4 pax Front counter was also very polite. I Especially liked the water dispenser which also dispensed sparkling water.
The location was a but further away from the city, but staff were really helpful with other things.
I recently stayed at this hotel and the experience was simply exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my stay was perfect at all times. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean, with a super comfortable bed that guaranteed a restful night's sleep. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!
Little bit far from the the town center but the hotel is pretty good with a fair price
The room was colorful, cute, and clean. The gift postcards and wooden ornaments were nice. There were no slippers or pajamas, so you will need to bring your own. There is no refrigerator, so be careful, but if it's not frozen, just leaving it by the window was fine. There was also a water server, which was helpful. The staff were very helpful and helpful, and I had a comfortable stay. The location...
The service was good, good reception, the breakfast was perfect.

A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was excellent, quite a few options. Very nice property with professional staff, would book again
Wonderfully charming. Lots of restaurants and backeries close by.
Charming hotel with great service Everything was great. Great patio. Great location. Great room. Great shower. Really such a charming and lovely hotel. The service was especially great. Wera at the front desk was fantastic. She gave great recommendations, was able to get us reservations in town and was able to answer all of our questions.
Great hotel Hotel and location is excellent. Only problem was that Valet is not available after 5 pm and nearest self parking is good 15 mon away.
A charming old herberge in the middle of old town. An easy walk from the train station. A lovely place to stay and explore Strasbourg.

Very nice, a good expérience in a beautiful city of strasbourg
This hotel excellent location. super cleanest, very good facilities and very comfort room. Reception staff very support and give more information.
Excellent location opposite the train station. Very welcoming staff.
Excellent location! It’s very close to all the main attractions.
Perfect location for walking into the city, rooms were very comfortable, the staff all very friendly. Although central our room overlooked a quiet street so was peaceful. Breakfast was exceptional!
Simple, compact, and yet very well located! My wife and I visited Alsace region early November and stayed in this hotel overnight in transit. Not good as a home base but excellent if just overnighting! I do have one complaint: the shower head is absolutely unuseable mounted on the wall and you must hold it in your hand! They don't seem to test their facilities personally :-)

What a nice location everything you need is around 🙏🏽 we spend a good time there
The single room was spacious enough for one person. The photos online are better than the reality, especially what comes to bathrooms. Carrelage was broken on the floor so I assume there will be humidity at one point. No shampoo or conditioner available. The heating / cooling system did not function properly in the room. The receptionist kindly found me an extra blanket. Ear plugs would have been useful...
This is a good visit. The recent renovations are excellent. The location is perfect. The staff was very good and helpful. Many of the staff that I interacted with are students at the university. They were all bright, engaging and a joy to talk to. I will return.
Lovely hotel, in the walking distance from Cathedral and other attractions. Breakfast was quite good, personnel friendly. We liked it all.
Three night stay with family to visit the Christmas markets. Booked two rooms, one double and one triple for our adult daughters. Location - very good. About a ten minute walk from the hotel to the main square of the Christmas markets. But as it is outside the main part of the old town across the river it is much easier to access. If you stay in a hotel in the central area bounded by the rivers,...
I stayed for one night. The main things for me were the location near the center and the availability of breakfast. Both of these points were in this hotel, so I liked everything. The breakfast was variated, the dining area was large and comfortable, and there were no queues or crowds. The reception staff were very pleasant. The only small inconvenience were the room itself — there was no towel hook...

Great hotel with lots of attention to detail. The room was spotless and set up with everything we could’ve needed and more. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of options and local produce. Great experience.
A very warm welcome and helpful suggestions. The availability of hot drinks was much appreciated at -4 degrees Celsius. Breakfast was a special treat with a very diverse buffet, attractive tableware, and attentive service. The room for three adults was comfortable, and the separate toilet was a real plus. The location in town made it easy to explore on foot. A very pleasant stay. Highly recommended
The hotel is located on the edge of the old town, with most attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was very thoughtful, and the staff were very friendly; one staff member even went to get me sanitary napkins from a colleague in the middle of the night – I was very grateful. The room was small and a bit cramped, and the carpet wasn't very clean. Overall, it was great value for money, and...
We were staying in the annex. Tiny room with no way to open the window wide, no air conditioning, with a constant, nagging noise from the pipes. Impossible to sleep. This room is not part of the promised 3-star hotel. I would not have rented this room under these conditions. The receptionist told me that he should not rent it in the summer, that was his response. Not only should it not be rented in...
Clean, well-located hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast is also very good.
Small French hotel. Meaning micro room. :) Staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was ok. Do eat the scrambled egg, disaster. Other that that, nice.

Great location for the Christmas markets, just 2 blocks to get there. Hotel was lovely, room was great and staff were helpful and spoke beautiful English. The hotel restaurant has wonderful food. Totally enjoyed our stay
Overall fantastic hotel, spacious and clean rooms with pretty views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. However it should be made clearer that the spa/sauna/pool are not included in the hotel price, and that a supplement is required of 20€ per hour of use of the spa. But it is still a good hotel and I would return there as the location is good.
Our room at Au Cerf D'Or was beautiful and comfortable; quiet but easily walkable to the old town and local restaurants.
The room was pretty old and very much noise from the street. Check in didnt went smooth too.
The hotel staff were great. The breakfast is the morning is very convenient and location was walkable

The breakfast was amazing!! The rooms were very clean and the staff were so warm and friendly. The bed was super comfortable, I slept like a baby at night. I would definitely STAY here again and highly recommend it! 💚 🤭
Breakfast was Ok but I expected better for the price
Very comfortable hotel, with spacious and bright rooms. The front desk lady is very friendly. The surrounding environment is also very quiet. Staying here is very cost-effective and highly recommended
The container-style hotel is very simple and the surrounding environment is average. It is not recommended to book
I stayed at this hotel for one night, and my opinion is quite straightforward: I only recommend it if you have an early flight the next morning. Its only real advantage is its very close proximity to the airport — just a 5-minute train ride, which can be convenient in specific situations. Aside from that, access is very difficult, especially on foot. The hotel is isolated, with nothing nearby — no...

Great location next to train station and close enough to walk everywhere in the old town. Tram stop also close by. Big, clean room. Hotel has a nice vibe. Staff friendly and helpful.
It was close to the train station, which is what I needed. If I was in my twenties, I might have appreciated the hotel more.
Nice hotel in a very good location for the station and to see the centre of the city. Polite staff and greeting on arrival. Rooms were nice, only problem was the blinds didn't shut in the room and there was a street light outside!
Fantasic reception staff and the hotel.is in a great location for the station and for getting out and about. Would definitely stay there again.
Really well priced, spacious room - we got the family room for three adults and there are two bunk beds located in a separate room with a pocket door for privacy (and a window). There aren’t any extras like a kettle, a safe or even facial tissues but still good value for the price. Less than a five minute walk from the train station, and an easy walk into old town. The reception isn’t 24 hours fyi
A very pleasant stay at this hotel, located right next to the main attractions in Strasbourg. The room was clean, the staff very friendly, and the free luggage storage service for hotel guests was very convenient. I highly recommend it!

Very noisy, shower turns into a swimming pool... door stopper is a liability in middle of room, hurt my foot very badly...
I got so lucky picking a quiet hotel. Location was just far enough from the touristy cathedral square but still close enough to walk to reaching , although strasbourg’s transit system is amazing! I could have stayed further away and still access everything.
Charming hotel ideally located in the heart of Strasbourg’s old town, right by the river. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Walk across from Strasbourg Central Station ( Gare Central) to the Hotel. There's another Mercure Hotel nearby. Can walk to Petite France area. Notre Dame Cathedral Strasbourg can be easily reached by Tram if you do not want to try walking. Couldn't find an English TV channel. In the case of my room, toilet flush not powerful? Need to be repaired or replaced?
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and offers very, very dated and poorly cleaned rooms for these promotions! I absolutely do not recommend it until all the rooms are renovated... On the other hand, the staff is impeccable.
Good location with few mins walk from station and not far from Carrefour express with variety of wines.

Old hotel, with normal space limitations. Romantic charm placed next to the cathedral in a buzzing area. Close proximity to restaurants (5’ walk) The hotel is well maintained and offers all amenities. Included is the breakfast, with a good selection of food and juices. Perfect location to visit Strasbourg or organize short scenery trips in the vineyards countryside.
We recently spent for days at Hotel Suisse. It was our fifth or sixth stay at this hotel. We had a large, superior room. Some rooms here are very, very small. If you like small fine. We do not. I am completely satisfied that I had this stay. That said, the room was really small and I might have opted for something a little more expensive if I had know that. But I loved the hotel, the staff and the location.

A good location in between the old town and European Parliament, with both within walking distance. Not a lot of food in the area in the summer, as many places were closed for holidays or closed early/opened late. However, the hotel itself was clean and quiet with standard amenities. The area is also very safe.
Great hotel with good breakfast choice. Free street parking during the night.

It is also close to Auchan supermarket, where you can buy food and daily necessities. There are bus stops downstairs, making it convenient to go anywhere.
Convenient hotel with reasonable rates The hotel was conveniently located to the university, just a minute or two from the Observatoire tram stop (direct connection C tram from the Gare Centrale train station). While no hot food, the breakfast buffet was full and fresh and good value, the room with panoramic windows had good light and outside air control, and tram sound was minimal with the windows...
The hotel has a good breakfast. There's a parking space infront of the hotel but you have to ask at the reception. It's close to tourist spot area. It's walkable.
The hotel is very well located and clean. I had a problem and I had to go to the hospital and they helped me a lot. I really like the hotel employees and my stay in general.
Tram and bus stops are close by, so accessibility was good. I didn't eat breakfast, but there was a bakery nearby, so it was good to buy it easily. There is an elevator in the hotel, but when you enter the hotel from outside the hotel, there are about 10 steps, so you had to carry your luggage upstairs.
Very well located hotel. A small downside for the car park, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to find free places nearby. The value for money is good and the staff very welcoming. We were not on the street side, so no noise at night, which is nice.

The environment is very nice, located in a park. The breakfast selection is not extensive, but it is quite exquisite.
My wife and I were looking for a castle hotel, and it met her expectations perfectly, and our family was delighted. We only stayed one night, but I hope to be able to relax longer next time.
The reception desk staff is really very kind. It is quiet and nice because it is inside the park. The room is of course clean and nice, and the old-fashioned building is also very nice! Parking is also very convenient because there is a dedicated parking lot!
It was a wonderful surprise; the hotel is located in a huge park, very quiet at night, and the air is fresh in the morning. It's a pity I only stayed one night.
The hotel is antique and located in a very nice park with nice natural scenery. There is a tennis court. The hotel salon area is very beautiful and exudes French elegance. The castle hotel does not have an elevator, which is a little inconvenient to move luggage.
The hotel is located in a park outside the city, with a beautiful environment, comfortable rooms, and convenient parking. While the breakfast selection is limited, it is very refined. It is situated in a historic castle.

Not worth the price compared to countries other similar properties I’ve stayed at on trip.com.
The entrance is in the sideway of the fence, somewhat challenging to find. But so far so good.
The location is far of the center but I guess it’s fine due to the price. The real problem is the bathroom, it is very small. I am a short person and still had a lot of problems showering, I can’t imagine someone who is actually tall
