This is the budget Ibis so don't expect much. Room was tiny but cosy. Bathroom super small but has a loo, shower and tiny sink that splashes water everywhere. Don't bother with the breakfast though. Weak coffee, toast and croissant. Museli tastes like shredded cardboard. Dining room doubles as reception and corridor.

Great central location, staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were decent, only reason not 5 star is due to ineffective air conditioning for me! Otherwise, great hotel.

Good location, on the edge of downtown. Nice, clean facilities. Good breakfast.
Room is spacious, good for a night stay.
There’s no official drop of area, but you can temporary stop car by roadside for few minutes.

no proper window in the room (while we took a ‘large’ one, no electric plugs next to the bed to charge phone and on top, they had issue with water, there was no hot water for a day.
Cool hotel, the rooms are very basic
Great hotel
The hotel is fantastic great location and such friendly staff we are so happy to have found this hotel!

A very unique property. Clean room and facilities. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, nice bathroom. Friendly staff.
Absolutely loved our time at Mama Shelter - from the moment we walked in the staff were super friendly and helpful and the roof top bar was great. Rooms were bright and clean with plenty of space. Would recommend adding on breakfast downstairs as a highlight too.

The hotel is located, 25 min on foot from the strict city center ( around 4-5 tram stations).
Could have been a bit cleaner.
Not sure why this structure would deserve the 3 stars. The rooms are clean enough, however:
- Super thin walls and doors, you can hear everything that goes on outside and in the neighboring rooms. Luckily I had earplugs.
- There was a bad smell in the bathroom, probably the sink wasn't property cleaned as it was also partially clogged.
- Breakfast was a let down, basically just some toast, ham,...
The hotel requires several passcode to enter various gates, and they change the passcodes on different days. It is quite inconvenient for customers to bring along the passcode sheet and see which gate requires which passcode on which day. And the attendants did not clean our room as requested.
Nice and clean room but WiFi in bedroom is really bad and dogs bark throughout the night (guess that depends if you’re unlucky with guests/their dog).
Great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Bordeaux. Close to the centre and train station. Would recommend
Stayed for a week to attend a conference, room 124. The reception was nice and helpful. The room was large, clean and cleaned daily. The location is quite good: the bus is very close, tram B is not far. The city center is in walkable distance. There's some shops and restaurants around. I have nothing to complain about. If I come back to Bordeaux, I'll stay here again.

4 days into a 10 day stay in Bordeaux at the Quality Hotel. A wonderful place to stay in the center of the Bordeaux scene. There is no reason to try anywhere else.We love it here. Staff cleanliness and comfort all 5 star
Very centrally located. Amazing breakfast, soft beds, moderate noise in the room and some maintainance needed.
Honestly loved this hotel, the bed was soft and comfy, the room was small but not too small, I had room for my luggage and everything. Location was perfect right by the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe and the highlight, they have glass water bottles for you to fill up in the lobby with filtered water or sparkling water to take to your room
Location is terrific. Right on a walking street in a busy part of town. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Front desk staff were amazing.
Warm, helpful and knowledgeable staff especially the front desk ladies. I had a wonderful stay and it’s in the heart of Bordeaux, easy access to the wineries, café’s, restaurants and bars. There is a small hotel bar with delicious cocktails, water station in the lobby and coffee in your room. Thank you so much, great job to the team!! Merci!
The room was OK. It rained during our stay, and the first room we were given had a strong odor. It was fine after we changed the room, but the air conditioner didn't work, and the room was quite cold. The bathroom heater didn't heat the room the next day. When checking in, we had to show our credit card, but we just touched the card and didn't know what it was for.
Nothing else.

Breakfast was a let down, when the bacon was emptied they didn’t replenish, despite being told they would.
Shame as otherwise all good .
Hotel opposite the station so convenient but room not very clean and no hygiene kit
The location is right in front of Saint-Jean Station, so it is very accessible. However, there are not many shops or restaurants in front of the station, and it is not very safe at night, so it is better to use it for different purposes. The price is cheap in Bordeaux, so it is quite good if you only plan to sleep. There is no refrigerator or kettle, but I think the functionality is good as a business...
The location is very convenient, just opposite the train station and the rail station. You can sit outside and there is a place to eat downstairs.
Service was good. I like the location. The view from lobby looking outside of the hotel is good.

Very modern and clean hotel. Has a very good and convenient location. Will surely book there again when coming back to Bordeaux!
Great location with basic amenities. I hope they have provide a bigger room and amenities for families. Note that parking is not within the same building.
Great view
Staff were friendly. Breakfast inclusion was nice.
Lack of luggage storage caused $40 added expense. Would not stay again for that reason
The rooms are comfortable (the bed was great) the rooms are extremely small. The shower so small that my husband (6’2”) had to open the shower door to properly wash. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The windows are far from sound proof, it’s a lively neighbourhood but I sleep quite soundly.
For the price I would stay there again.
I had requested an upgraded room, although I’m not sure...
The front desk were very helpful and friendly. Stephanie went out of her way to help us retrieve an item we had left at another hotel.

The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured.
Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.
Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.
Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2
were in the room for a double occupancy.
Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain.
1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff...
Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated...

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good, better than we anticipated. Great location for transport as tram just 100 meters up the road.
Bathroom a little awkward but does the job. Room clean. Will definitely use this hotel again.
A little gem.
After reading some reviews on this hotel I wondered what I had booked. Our stay was excellent, staff were helpful and personable and could speak English, which is always a bonus. The hotel is in a great location, close to the main attractions and restaurants in Bordeaux. The staff were polite and check-in was smooth. However, the rooms felt small and outdated, and the overall experience was ok. The breakfast was average and lacked variety. It’s fine for a short stay, but I expected a bit more comfort and attention to detail for the price.
This is the most central location I have ever stayed in. So easy to pop back into the hotel during the day to drop off shopping, use the restroom, or just take a nap. Only steps from the tram line that comes in from the Bordeaux train station, the intercontinental hotel, Opera House and shopping streets.
The location couldn't be better. Right in the centre with the tram stop just a minute up the road.
On the other hand, the hotel is tired as can be and the rooms seem to never be really cleaned properly.
The bathroom had a very bad odour and there was an incessant noise (like refrigeration) coming from the internal courtyard.
Small hotel in the center of Bordeaux,
It has a convenient public paid parking a short distance away, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned but it was a great compromise for the price we paid compared to the average of hotels in that area.
The area is very nice, close to the theater, place de la bourse the river and many restaurants.
Overall I leave a positive review.
The location and space are quite good, and the price-performance ratio is very high. Next to it is the Internet-famous steak fast food restaurant that queues up every day. I highly recommend everyone to stay here! There is an elevator. The room is smaller but clean and cheap. Impeccable.

I stayed at Moxy for a few night during a business trip. great place to stay.
Great place, great stuff. I prefer stay here in my next trip to Bordeaux
Well-located and quiet place next to the Cité des Vins.
Food market next door and many options along the riverbank. 10 minutes to the city center by tram.
Good service and cleanliness. Breakfast is adequate but could be better (the only minor complaint...).
Room with a view
The hotel is conveniently located, the bed is comfortable, but the air conditioner works strangely. It didn't cool well.
The hotel is always very good, with a lovely, clean room and all the amenities. I recommend it.
Calm and conveniently located in Bordeaux's Bacalan neighbourhood with plenty of bars and eating options, as well as the "Cité du Vin" and easy access to the centre, and train station via the tramline.

Fantastic location close to everything you need. Lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is a short 10 min walk away. The man at reception was absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. They offer beach towels too which is a bonus for the beach.

What a beautiful hotel, such a complete surprise to see the gorgeous interior decoration. The bedroom was lovely, a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel completely met our expectations. Family room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is right opposite the lake, which is nice for walks, and there is a beach area. We had a hire car (parking was 8 euros a night) but if we hadn't, the tram line was close by. Hotel close to airport.
You need to place hanger on front door to get room cleaned.
Breakfast was very good.
Bus transportation is tricky but when mastered it’s effective.
We stayed for one night at this hotel. We received a warm welcome, and the room, though simple, was clean with a comfortable bed and a kettle provided.
The breakfast buffet was good and offered a wide variety of choices.
The only minor drawback was that I unfortunately couldn't get the gluten-free bread I had requested.
Please note: This is a motel-style hotel with no elevator.
A good location and price for the airport. Restaurant had not much choice on the menu. We found a excellent pizza restaurant a five minute walk away. Shower in room not strong.Beds were comfortable.
The room was rather clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The toilet stopped flushing, we informed the reception about this and were given a neihboring room with a working toilet immediately. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The check‑in process was smooth, and the room was well-maintained and comfortable. What stood out most was the staff—they were consistently pleasant, courteous, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their professionalism and warmth added a personal touch that made our visit memorable. I would gladly return on my next trip.
Spacy room, spacious, comfy and clean.
The 2nd floor was very quiet.
Highly recommend.
Only downside, the parking is paid.
But you can find free places in the streets very close by.
Clean and comfortable bed.
A little noisy with the nearby intersection.
For long stays: option to opt out of room service = 1 drink at the bar.
Rooms are fairly large.
For children: no crib available.
The staff is great, parking is convenient and cheap.
There is no minibar or bottle of water in the room, but there is a kettle. There is no smart TV, wi-fi works poorly.
Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Good location. Good value for money as a B&B, although I didn't try the breakfast.
Great initiative in offering a free drink if the guest doesn't ask for a change of bed sheets.
However, there is a lack in room amenities (such as cotton buds and slippers) which I think are essential for short-stay guests.
Quiet hotel but very noisy outside
Nightclub right next door.

The room was ok. A little small.
The room was nice, with all the facilities you need, plenty of hot water, clean, tidy and quiet. The hotel is not far from the tram station and there is a good restaurant behind the hotel.
There are many hotels around the hotel. The room is relatively large, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is large. There is a good French restaurant next to it. The pork knuckle and sausage are delicious.

The Parking available? Definitely NOT ! Impossible to approach the hotel by car because of the one-way streets all around the hotel. Prepare to find a parking first and then carry all your luggage to the hotel. The staff wasn’t very helpful to find a solution.
