The hotel is great! The bar was fun, the tv showed formula one, the rooms had a kettle and coffee pods, had a second door to block noise from the hallway, and caramels! It is in a great location, really easy walking distance to the attractions

A standard business hotel, quite good, just no parking available. You have to park at the mall next door, but that's pretty typical for city centers in Europe. Hotels recommended by Trip.com are generally reliable.

My girl left her stuff on her side of the bed during the day and staff left her stuff untouched which was great and they left her side of the bed unmade but they still made the effort to make my side of the bed

The hotel is well located, within walking distance from the historic centre and monuments. The room was good size, cosy, quiet, well appointed and very clean, no spots, no old furniture or appliances

Very good breakfast served in a large and quiet room with good quality products, cold and warm, everything was fresh and nice presented. The staff were very nice and helpful everywhere in the hotel

Had a great time at the Mercure centre ville and stayed for 3 nights. Exceptional service from the reception and cleaning staff

Due to a local festival, we had a hard time reaching the hotel, but Curtis went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly and rest after our long trip. I definitely recommend this hotel

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental Bordeaux for only two nights, we were blown away by the service. We were checked in by the very lovely Andrea at the front desk

We were allocated a beautiful suite with direct view of the Opera House, along with some delicious welcome plates of macaron, the local canelé and fresh fruit

We were greeted by the most helpful and cheerful staff you could imagine that made the check in process so easy and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and beautiful (photos can't capture how nice)

House keeping did not replenish black tea and enough cream despite requesting on 2 occasions. In a family room for 3, only 2 bottles of water and 2 chocolates were left each day

Great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Bordeaux. Close to the centre and train station. Would recommend

Stayed for a week to attend a conference, room 124. The reception was nice and helpful. The room was large, clean and cleaned daily. The location is quite good: the bus is very close, tram B is not far

- There was a bad smell in the bathroom, probably the sink wasn't property cleaned as it was also partially clogged. - Breakfast was a let down, basically just some toast, ham, cheese and not much else

Nice and clean room but WiFi in bedroom is really bad and dogs bark throughout the night (guess that depends if you’re unlucky with guests/their dog).

- On the last day of my stay (a Wednesday), I wanted to have breakfast early. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 7, but no one showed up and the breakfast room door remained closed

30 and couldn't have the breakfast I had paid for. The position is good, you can get to the centre in 20-25 minutes walk

Excellent hotel nestled on a beautiful historic property! They have an amazing wellness concept with a beautiful pool area. Great service all across the board

My first stay at the hotel, for three nights - such a beautiful and charming place. I would definitely stay again. Helpful and courteous staff, who spoke very clear French (even I could understand it)

We had Brunch on Sunday and what a fantastic experience. We were greeted and served by a wonderful team and the food was outstanding

We had a huge room with a sea view. Breakfast in the rotunda was superb - a massive selection of food, in great surroundings

The parking is big and closed As for the hotel, the rooms are nice and comfortable The restaurant offers a big and diverse buffet The gym is small and you have to ask reception for the key to use it Overall, nice hotel for a 2-3 days stay

When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case

The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill

We had dinner in three different, local restaurants, all of which were within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and all were amazing if you are a foodie. Highly recommended, luxurious boutique hotel

The staff really can't do enough for you, the front desk are so polite and helpful, recommending and booking restaurants and the night manager is super helpful and friendly

It's a sea view room. It's rare to find such powerful air conditioning in a European hotel. The front desk is quite welcoming. The breakfast is a bit simple. Like other European hotels, the room is relatively small.

Walk to everywhere easily and 5 mins from La Rochelle train station. Newly renovated with an excellent restaurant. Cosy and pleasant

The hotel is well organized and one of the high end hotels in La Rochelle. Due to the COVID restrictions, so many aspects of the hotel were not explored. Meals had to be served to the rooms instead of the usual buffet

The hotel is impeccably maintained: yes the facade is a little dated, but given the location by the sea completely understandable, which is why I can’t understand the negative reviews

Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Sofitel in Biarritz. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, staff friendly and attentive

The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the promenade and beach, and a very short walk into town. The salt water pool was incredible

Glorious spa and 2 free activities. Some say it needs an external paint job and it does. But that did not spoil my visit

However, it has outlived its glory days. Many areas require renovation. Prices in bars and restaurants are very high. Breakfasts are plentiful and the service is friendly

A very new and upscale French hotel, living up to the Renaissance brand. The rooms were new, and the amenities were excellent, especially the body lotion and conditioner. The bedding was also very comfortable

There were also free parking spaces on the street, but they didn't mention we could try looking for paid spaces instead. This isn't about the money; it's a lack of service awareness from the receptionist or concierge

Coming to visit with an occasion of anniversary, appreciate the hotel helped decorated our room with balloons and rose petals! The breakfast had a decent range of foods at the rooftop floor, which had a beautiful view of Bordeaux

The hotel has a bar with panoramic views of Bordeaux at night. The breakfast was plentiful and of high quality. However, the receptionist was a bit arrogant and didn't explain the parking rules

The room was fine except for a couple of items, firstly there were no robes which would be useful to use for the pool, secondly the bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and the bathroom door handle was so close to the edge of the door making it difficult to open/close

Best hotel bed, very comfortable

We were surprised by the friendliness of the staff! Specialists from the reception told everything about the city, suggested how to get to Fort Boyard, booked a table in a restaurant! The hotel itself is very beautiful! Rooms are clean, very nice mini bar!

The hotel is the only five-star hotel in la Rochelle. It is located in the city center. The hotel staff are very friendly and very patient when checking in

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped

We chose the cosy rooms which are small but so very comfortable, the best bed in France yet! All the team were excellent, all spoke either English or Spanish and could not have been more helpful

Great hotel with pleasant lobby and bar. The location is near le port so no need for a car once you are settled in in your hotel. You can visit the city by foot.

Stayed there several times when it was Radisson. Hotel has a ver good location with view on Cote des Basques and walking distance to downtown. Coffee shop on ground floor is cosy and friendly

This Hotel is great, service is at the level you can expect from a Hotel that belong to the Radisson brand. Food was great and staff very friendly. It is within walking distance from all the nice places. We will be back.

Gorgeous room with a stunning view of the Atlantic. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant which offer a perfect sea view(ideal for sunsets) and delicious food.

I went to the rooftop and there was a good jazz band there. The views are amazing. The staff is super friendly!

You can float in the pool until evening, or simply sit by the pool enjoying a drink from the restaurant. This hotel was also one of my favorites

The hotel has garden with a rotunda where you can sit, as well as a swimming pool, which is perfect for cooling off in the middle of August

The bedspreads were wonderful, so soft they felt like they were made of feathers. It truly feels like sleeping on clouds after a long, busy day
