Aquitaine, Bordeaux, 81 Cours Saint-Louis 🧭 Map
Good value! Property a bit tired. Good showers Poor AC Good cotton bedding!
Beautiful hotel and very large room and bath. Comfortable bed and well appointed with amenities. It is a 35-40 minute walk to the historic center.
The hotel is okay at best. Staff was extremely rude and not helpful. Room was not clean, especially toilets and bathroom. Does not really fits the 4* claim.
The dry and wet areas are separated and the space is large, which is very good.
We stayed here while visiting for the Olympics and it just so happened to be the same hotel where the Men's and Women's Spanish National Soccer teams were staying! The hotel is beautiful and a close walk to the river trams, with plenty of dining/shopping options nearby.
Quality for money. The staff were very nice and friendly. I’ll recommend it anytime,

The hotel is well located, within walking distance from the historic centre and monuments. The room was good size, cosy, quiet, well appointed and very clean, no spots, no old furniture or appliances. There is everything you need, a special observation for the very good quality toiletries: Nuxe. Very good breakfast served in a large and quiet room with good quality products, cold and warm, everything...
Had a great time at the Mercure centre ville and stayed for 3 nights. Exceptional service from the reception and cleaning staff. My girl left her stuff on her side of the bed during the day and staff left her stuff untouched which was great and they left her side of the bed unmade but they still made the effort to make my side of the bed. Amazing attention to detail. Thanks to everyone.
It was really good experience.
The hotel is great! The bar was fun, the tv showed formula one, the rooms had a kettle and coffee pods, had a second door to block noise from the hallway, and caramels! It is in a great location, really easy walking distance to the attractions
It was nice to stay in this hotel and it is near centre ville. The room is clean and they will clean everday. But the amentites are not too many, only basic bar and restaurant. TV is cable channel.
Nice stay for 2 nights in Bordeaux with family. It is convenient coming by car and is there is a paid parking in the shopping Center next to the hotel. Not at the heart but only 10 min walking distance from old town. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

My first stay at the hotel, for three nights - such a beautiful and charming place. I would definitely stay again. Helpful and courteous staff, who spoke very clear French (even I could understand it). We had a huge room with a sea view. Breakfast in the rotunda was superb - a massive selection of food, in great surroundings. I loved the dramatic atmosphere of the cocktail lounge which also had a great...
As the hotel was originally built by Napoleon III for his empress, it carries great historical significance and an exceptional sense of luxury. This is truly what one would call a “luxury hotel.” Moreover, the spa and hotel facilities are excellent, and I felt that even during the off-season or in less favorable weather, guests can fully enjoy their stay at the hotel. It was truly a wonderful property
It was our third stay at this hotel, and once again everything was absolutely wonderful. We arrived without a prior reservation, yet Álvaro at the reception kindly assisted us and found the perfect rooms for our needs. His professionalism, warmth, and attention made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Thank you for such excellent service — we truly appreciated it and will definitely come back
Come to the Brasserie for dinner. It doesn’t disappoint. Especially if you dine on the terrace or window side. I stayed here a few years back, and the room was lovely, breakfast exquisite. I came back just to dine this last summer and the terrace at sunset was incredible! Definitely worth a visit while in Biarritz!
Had to wait till 4:00PM for Check-In... Arrived at 1:00PM - - No rooms available.
What a special experience. We had Brunch on Sunday and what a fantastic experience. We were greeted and served by a wonderful team and the food was outstanding. Carla, Romain, Amory and M Griffon were the members of staff we met but we could see that this was such a well run Restaurant!. If you want an out of World experience then I would highly recommend a Sunday here.

This is the budget Ibis so don't expect much. Room was tiny but cosy. Bathroom super small but has a loo, shower and tiny sink that splashes water everywhere. Don't bother with the breakfast though. Weak coffee, toast and croissant. Museli tastes like shredded cardboard. Dining room doubles as reception and corridor.

Great central location, staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were decent, only reason not 5 star is due to ineffective air conditioning for me! Otherwise, great hotel.

Good location, on the edge of downtown. Nice, clean facilities. Good breakfast.
Room is spacious, good for a night stay. There’s no official drop of area, but you can temporary stop car by roadside for few minutes.

Fantastic especially the breakfast
Great breakfast, warm welcome, clean and well-soundproofed room. However, the pool we'd hoped for wasn't functional, there wasn't enough toilet paper for four people, no air conditioning (or was it non-functional?), and the shower drain was very limited, resulting in a minor flood...

Excellent Stay – Special Thanks to the Front Desk! Our experience at Pullman Bordeaux was fantastic. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the warm and professional welcome we received at check-in. A special thank you to the lady at the reception—she was incredibly helpful, kind, and made us feel right at home from the very start. Highly recommended! Thx!
Pleasant hotel, well located and modern. Very good value for money. Breakfast with variety and quality.

The room was quite satisfactory, and the service was good. Plus, the room had a water view. It's a bit far from the Old Town. The breakfast had fruit, but was lacking in green leafy vegetables, only offering shredded radish. Everything was great, from the facilities to the service, couldn't ask for more. The only minor downside was the limited variety at breakfast.
The hotel is clean and excellent near a food court. The staff are extremely courteous and professional. Absolutely recommend! The staff made a point to try and give us a river facing room. If you plan to use the hotel parking, I advice to book the parking in advance. Great breakfast spread!
Good service. Nest to the hotel is convenient store , eateries. Good river view. Comfortable and clean room. Walking sister the St Jean Train station. Enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental Bordeaux for only two nights, we were blown away by the service. We were checked in by the very lovely Andrea at the front desk. After our long day of travel she was very kind, recognising our status as IHG Platinum and Intercon. Ambassador members. We were allocated a beautiful suite with direct view of the Opera House, along with some delicious welcome...
Maybe the best hotel experience I've ever had! The Intercontinental Bordeaux is a historic and beautiful hotel in the very center of town. We were greeted by the most helpful and cheerful staff you could imagine that made the check in process so easy and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and beautiful (photos can't capture how nice). Premium products in the bathroom and the softest bed I've...
We were received and welcome by Sabrina, She was most accommodating and made us feel comfortable. Also during our stay Morgan and Andria were most helpful during our stay. George was also helping making all our reservation. All in All I can say that Intercontinental hotel in Bordeaux met all our expectation. Keep up the good work. Thank you, John Mirsepahi
House keeping did not replenish black tea and enough cream despite requesting on 2 occasions. In a family room for 3, only 2 bottles of water and 2 chocolates were left each day. Other than that, staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the old original feel of the building and interiors. The family room was very spacious and we appreciated having 2 bathrooms and separate toilets. The special gifts...
Because we were a couple, one adult and two children, we couldn't fit into a regular room, so we booked a suite. The exterior is beautiful, in the bustling area of Bordeaux. However, we were given a second-floor suite. Anyone who's stayed in an old European hotel knows that the second floor was originally a warehouse, with low ceilings and small windows. You can see the building just two meters away...
Thank you to the InterContinental team for their professionalism and hospitality. Due to a local festival, we had a hard time reaching the hotel, but Curtis went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly and rest after our long trip. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, lovely spacious room. Clean and nicely decorated Only downfall is it doesn't have it's own car park.
Nice hotel in good location. Air-conditioned room on a hot day. Tidy and clean. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast included. Omnivore restaurant below is exceptional. Also, Kanpai restaurant has delicious Japanese food with a brilliant designed interior.
We had a great 3 night stay in the hotel. The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and spatious. The breakfast was quite good, and offered a wide range of food options. Service was friendly, and efficient. I would definitely stay there again!
Fantastic hotel in the heart of town. I had a cosy single at the very top but it was well equipped, comfortable, clean and with a great view from the window. Excellent for the price. Good breakfast too. What made it standout was the service. Christof was happy to store my bike and went out of his way to be super helpful throughout my stay which I really appreciated. Would recommend.
Very lovely hotel in the center in Pau. Easy walking distance to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and nice. It is a bit older and the rooms can vary in size. It's a sea view room. It's rare to find such powerful air conditioning in a European hotel. The front desk is quite welcoming. The breakfast is a bit simple. Like other European hotels, the room is relatively small.
Hotel very well located, close to the station and the center
Great place & location. Very good service from all staff, specially from Juan at the bar.
Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is well organized and one of the high end hotels in La Rochelle. Due to the COVID restrictions, so many aspects of the hotel were not explored. I loved it. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Glorious spa and 2 free activities. Indoor and outdoor pools. Overlooking the beach. Short walk to town centre. Some say it needs an external paint job and it does. But that did not spoil my visit.
A large hotel. However, it has outlived its glory days. Many areas require renovation. Prices in bars and restaurants are very high. Breakfasts are plentiful and the service is friendly. Unfortunately, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.
Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Sofitel in Biarritz. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, staff friendly and attentive. The hotel has a convenient, central location and offers a generous breakfast spread each morning. However, the gym facilities are quite basic and do not include a treadmill. The room was clean and tidy, but a bit old; the carpet had stains. Double rooms had coffee machines, but single rooms did not. It's located near the city hall, so transportation is convenient. The staff were very polite.
Novotel Hotel is not far from Bordeaux City Hall and Cathedral. There is a large indoor parking lot next to the hotel, from which you can walk directly to the hotel; there are signs. The hotel lobby has a restaurant, which is quite nice; we had dinner there. There is a small supermarket a short distance away. The family rooms are nice. The breakfast is good.
Staff were amazing, food was excellent and room were very clean. I would happily come here again. My only issue was the bad smell of the tap/shower water. But that is probably a municipal issue.

We had a lovely stay, beautiful spacious and spotless bedroom. Breakfast was very good, however the staff were very very prompt in closing down the service, switching of the lights while we were still finishing our breakfast. Only 1 person at the front desk spoke any English. But definitely recommend this hotel.
I was very disappointed with my stay in Bordeaux. The room had an unpleasant smell, the hair dryer didn’t work, and the entire property is in need of serious renovation. It’s definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised — more like a 2.5 to 3-star at best. The location might be convenient, but the overall experience did not meet expectations. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are...
Room wasn’t ready before 3:00 pm even though the front desk said it was vacant. We watched other guests receive immediate access before 3:00. Dirty torn faded carpet with wet spots. Refrigerator door was open on arrival. Shower floor extremely slippery and hazardous. No wash cloths available. Loud music and pounding noise from the fitness center a floor below awakened us in early morning.
Great location to visit LaCité du Vin and Les Bassins de Lumières. Many dining options nearby.
The room is spacious and clean. We have to take the tram to go to the city centre. It’s around 5-10 mins walk to the tram station. You can’t control the air con from your room, you have to dial to the reception to change the temperature for you.
This hotel was great. A few bugs trying to figure out the parking garage but the staff was super helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant was our favorite place every evening with wonderful views of the German submarine pens and the Cite de Vin. The location is right next to the museum, with a food court downstairs that's very busy during meal times. It's also conveniently located by tram, with only 4 or 5 stops to the city in 20 minutes.
