However, the room cleanliness needs improvement. There were several strands of hair from the previous guest still stuck on the bathroom wall — hard to miss and frankly quite off-putting. Attention to such details is important and should not be overlooked.
Other than that the walls were so thin I could hear all my neighbors conversations and the reception bold guy was quite unpleasant. Definitely doesn't deserve it's 4 stars.
Welcoming and helpful the minute we arrived. Just the environment you’d expect in a mountain hotel but with all the amenities. Location was superb!
The service was attentive and very friendly.
The price was reasonable.
But the highlight of our experience was Ali at the reception. Without his help and guidance, we couldn’t have planned our trip in Chamonix so smoothly. He was extremely kind, professional, and helpful, making everything so much easier for us.
We will definitely come back again – highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chamonix!
It said baby cribs are available when booking a room so we requested one when booking - we also confirmed/asked upon check in and got it confirmed, two hours later we asked another staff member in the reception and got it confirmed, yet we never got a baby crib.
On top of that, the man that checked us in (and out) was incredibly rude. He was dismissive and uninformative; he didn’t inform us regarding breakfast, spa services or anything. The whole energy was hostile.
The room’s layout was strange, as you had to walk around the entire room from the toilet to wash your hands, and there were no electrical outputs - only two usb sockets and one wireless charger, so any devices with other charging cables could not be charged.
Overall a terrible experience.
Updated review after hotel’s response:
1. I am a woman, please refrain from using gender specific greetings if you are unaware of the gender of the reviewer.
2. We never had a DNS sign on our door - I would not even be able to tell you whether there actually was one in the room. We never saw one.
3. The lady in the reception confirmed the crib would be sent up to the room whilst we were away - I told her we were heading out for the evening when I spoke to her in the reception and then proceeded to leave the premises.
4. Either apologize or don’t - apologies with lies and unacceptable excuses are redundant and guarantee that we will never stay at your hotel again.
