BE VERY CAREFUL. Expectations do not match reality. The photos online are completely different from what I received. This has been the worst experience of my life. I would not wish it on anyone. I booked a 35 square meter Junior Suite expecting space, light, a balcony and a beautiful view. Instead, I was given an extremely small room that feels no more than 16 or 17 square meters. There is no balcony at all. There is no view of Courchevel, no mountains, no forest. The window faces a back area covered by a large printed banner with fake trees. It feels like staying in a basement. The bathroom is absurdly large, taking up most of the declared space, while the actual sleeping area is tiny and uncomfortable. The proportions make no sense. You end up with a huge empty bathroom and a cramped bedroom where it is unpleasant to even spend time. The hotel is non refundable, and once you check in and see the reality, you cannot get your money back. When I asked for a solution, the staff repeated prepared phrases and showed no willingness to help. It felt like this situation was not new to them. I am now forced to stay here for seven days in conditions that are deeply disappointing and uncomfortable. If you choose this hotel, confirm every detail in advance. Do not rely on the photos.

We stayed at Sivoliere Courchevel for 4 nights in January 2026, as a couple, in a Prestige room. The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful forest view and an excellent level of cleanliness (housekeeping twice a day, which is quite rare nowadays). Very quiet and ideal for relaxing after skiing. The location is very practical: ski-in/ski-out with direct access to a red slope for a few meters until the nearest lift. In addition, the hotel’s van can take you literally anywhere at any time. The village center is about a 10-minute walk, but the shuttle service is so efficient that you hardly need to walk at all. The staff is probably the hotel’s biggest asset. Extremely polite, professional and genuinely caring. I was feeling unwell during our stay and they did everything they could to help (thermometer, transport to a pharmacy, constant follow-up). The restaurant is very good and the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety and high-quality products. On the downside: the WiFi is quite unstable and often doesn’t work well, which is annoying especially if you need a reliable connection. Also, the spa is just okay, nothing special, and the gym is almost non-existent (very small space, one treadmill, one bike and two dumbbells), which does not match the overall standard of the hotel. Overall, a great experience mainly thanks to the staff, location and food. An excellent choice for a ski holiday with high-level service, but with room for improvement in infrastructure (WiFi & fitness facilities).

I stayed for 6 nights with my husband in Hotel La Sivolière in Courchevel 1850. It was our third visit and for sure not the last one! I must say it is a place where you can fee like at home, from the very first moment. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, never pretentious. One of the highlights is the location - close to the famous La Ferm Saint Amour , walking distance 5 minutes. The food in hotel La Sivoliere is of a very high standard. Breakfasts are delicious, lots of "salty" choice like salads, veggies etc everything is beautifully prepared. The rooms are well designed, comfortable and good size. The interiors blend contemporary style with a warm Alpine character. Myself and my husband are keen skiers, so skiing is very important to us. One of the important factors, why we stayed again in La Sivoliere is the ski room. It is comfortable, spacious, and equipped with top-quality equipment like helmets, skis, clothes. Skis and boots are perfectly prepared on the slope in the morning. Hotel La Sivoliere operates for guests shuttle transfers, which operate flawlessly.

This is an excellent, wonderful hotel. Conveniently located right on the ski slope, with the Plantrey lift just a 300-meter descent downhill. The Croisette area is a 3-minute shuttle ride away (though a bit far to walk). The shuttle service is perfectly organized, and the concierge staff are true professionals. The hotel is small, with just over 30 rooms. The decor is fresh, and the rooms are spacious and clean. There are no complaints about housekeeping (a rarity!). The bathroom fixtures (sinks, taps) are new and of high quality, complemented by premium toiletries. Breakfast is good—the selection, while not extensive, covers all essentials. The spa and fitness center are compact, featuring a pool with outdoor access, a sauna, and a hammam. The masseurs are top-class professionals. I’d like to especially highlight the staff’s friendliness. Everyone is polite, attentive, and responsive to any request. I totally recommend this hotel—you will not be disappointed.

We’ve been coming to La Sivoliere for the 5th time this year, so we are regular customers. We had scheduled to stay 7 nights, having booked two separate rooms. On the 5th night, I broke my right arm after a rough fall on ice while walking in town. The doctor I visited in Courchevel 1850 suggested I immediately go to an orthopedic surgeon to have an evaluation and likely operation. We needed to go back home a day early. The hotel management was completely unaccommodating when it came to refunding the last night, despite deliberating with their head several times: they would neither pay the funds back nor count them as credit towards a future stay. They wouldn’t even pay back just one of the two rooms. Moreover, we had already accrued a lot of other charges ranging from laundry to ski rentals, and they wouldn’t count it against those either. As you can imagine, changing trains, changing flights, and scheduling doctor’s visits was already becoming a nightmare, both monetarily and organizationally, and the hotel’s utter apathy added extra frustration, given the amount of money and time we have spent there. For a supposedly high-end hotel, the management has no understanding of customer loyalty and is only concerned with short-term profit. We will unfortunately not be staying again at La Sivoliere when we return to Courchevel later this the season and in later years. The money spent at such a high-end resort warrants a better experience. P.S. This was not our first experience with the poor management at La Sivolire. At the onset of covid, we had to nearly threaten legal action to refund our booking, despite the French authorities having shut down the entire ski resort!

We visited in Jan 2018. Being very fussy travellers and having experienced the best - la sivoliere was a breathe of fresh air that took us by complete surprise in a good way. Fantastic and responsive service. We got an upgrade as it was my birthday trip. Cosy and comfortable rooms - sizes very generous and larger than most ski resort hotels. Hotel breakfast is of high quality and we looked forward to this every morning. The shared areas of the hotel (lounge etc) are extremely cosy and well done up. We loved the ski valet. This is a hidden gem in my opinion.. we will definitely be back once our kids are old enough to learn skiing.
