We stayed in Le Seze Suite for 5 nights and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great location in a lovely and safe area on the other side of the river to the old/main town. Took us about 15 minutes to get to the main hub but it was worth it as the area we were in was very relaxed, had a grocery store within minutes walk, plenty of restaurants and bars. The room was secure, had a kitchenette so was great for making our own breakfasts and simple meals instead of eating out for a change. Was clean, quiet and good value for money.Would definitely recommend.

Travelling very regularly to Lyon. This is the best experience I ever had for a long time. Interior design, staff attention & ease of checking in & out with very smooth communication. A rare pick. Highly recommended !

My partner and I were delighted with our 10-day stay at MHL in Lyon, France. We selected Lyon because we really liked the boutique MHL property. This is the first time we've spent an entire mini-vacation in one place, and MHL is a great location from which to explore the many quality sites in Lyon. Our room on the interior courtyard wasn't flashy, but it was well-appointed with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The clothes washer was so handy, and the dish washer was a bonus. MHL is located in a less touristy area with great restaurants nearby, a Carefour, and a bakery and cheese shop that are to-die-for. The metro Red Line, which is one of the main routes is withing a 3-4 minute walk. (Buy a transit pass for your visit.) It's also possible to cross the river to the centre of the city, and further to the old town. Fourviere is visible from the river bank, which is also a 3-4 minute walk. What really sets MHL apart from any place we've ever stayed is the wonderfully helpful staff. The level of service is the absolute best. They check-in periodically and they will do everything within their power to help. I can't say enough about them!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at MHL! After a rough start to our first international trip as a family (due to the airlines), our hosts were there to greet us. We enjoyed the private entrance and the homey atmosphere our loft room provided. Julie was always available to answer questions and provided us assistance in navigating our way around the city (including how the parking garage system worked nearby and the best way to take the trains for a day trip out of Lyon). The walk to Old Lyon is absolutely gorgeous from MHL and I miss the many beautiful sites from there already! I would highly recommend the Lebanese restaurant nearby, as well as Milk & Pug in Old Lyon. We can’t wait to come again!

It was a wonderful experience. Great hospitality, great location. Julie was always in touch and helped us. The room itself is very cozy and beautiful, there are many cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. It is really a worthwhile place to stop and explore Lyon.

MHL was exactly what we wanted for our first international, family trip. The entrance to the room was private and the room more like an Air BnB with the perk of cleaning services. This made our room feel like home away from home. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, a parking garage nearby, delicious cafes and restaurants all around us, and within walking distance to Old Lyon. Our host regularly checked in with us to if we needed anything, including information on local travel when we made a day trip south. We highly recommend staying at MHL and would stay again!

We spent 10 nights at MHL and absolutely loved it! The hosts, Jean Charles, Claire and Julie, are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever had. The suite was very comfortable and we slept well in the bed. Having a clothes washing machine was really convenient, and the dishwasher was nice, too.
The location was perfect: a few minutes walk to the main metro line, there is a fantastic bakery right next door, as well as an amazing cheese shop and lots of great restaurants.
We recommend MHL highly and would definitely go back if we visited Lyon again.

Overall pleasant with some minor imperfection
Overall a pleasant stay. The owners tried their best to appear helpful. Clean, furnished apartment with full utilities.
However, the so called courtyard was in the vicinity of the kitchen of a restaurant, with staff throwing out garbage into a dumpster which happened to be in the centre of the courtyard.
Additionally, noise insulation was suboptimal.
Overall a pleasant stay. The owners tried their best to appear helpful. Clean, furnished apartment with full utilities.
