Holiday Inn Paris - Montmartre by IHG in Paris

Excellent service and not a bad location! Located a stone's throw from the main Montmartre/Sacre Coeur area (do note: you have to climb lots ofsteep hills and stairs to get there), the hotel is located between 2 metro stops, which makes it convenient to get around Paris. As many other reviews have noted, the property is quite old and gives off kind of dingy vibes, with the rooms' lighting being minimal and quite dim. The cleanliness of the rooms was good, though, and I did not feel uncomfortable at all about it. I stayed in a twin room and the beds were side by side with no gaps, so make sure you're comfortable with the person you are staying with if you were to book this room! Even though it's spring, the AC is centrally controlled and you can only turn on the heating or not at al, no cooling setting so it gets a bit warm, but we slept with the windows open. The staff were lovely and helpful!

Forget ideas of the Holiday Inn chain in N. America. This unassuming, little hotel was clean, quiet, well situated and didn't break the bank. Staff allowed us to check in early. There was a bar fridge - so we could stock some fruit to counter all that pastry - and complimentary coffee - so we could sip while we got ready in the morning. I would stay here again.

I liked the location of this hotel in Montemarte area. There's a lot you can see within walking distance. The room was perfectly fine and comfortable with everything in good working order, though it was unseasonably warm when I visited and I couldn't adjust the temperature other than open the window. That was fine, except there was construction and traffic outside which made it noisy. The service was also okay, but could be better.

Room was really small but sufficient for a short stay. Bed was comfortable. Location is good and near enough to the metro but surrounding areas can be a tad hilly. Water dispenser available at the lobby.

Fantastic stay! Room's were impeccably clean. Very good AC, nice views of Parisian rooftops from the top floor. Comfortable beds, and nice deep, clean bathtub.

Staff was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. The girl at the front desk got me to my room early after a long overnight flight, for which I am so grateful.

Location was perfect for us, quiet and safe but still within walking distance to the night life and Metro.

The only negative thing I could say is that the hotel breakfast is not so great. But it's Paris...go out and visit a nearby Boulangerie or Cafe!

Behind Montmartre, a little far from the subway, nothing major wrong, just average

Good location with lots of cafes, bakeries within walking distance for breakfast. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable beds and good shower. They also have a mini fridge. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Had the hotel breakfast on last morning and it was good. Would recommend the hotel.
