This hotel is thoroughly comfortable and charming with a perfect marriage of traditional Parisian style and modern amenities. The staff is warm and welcoming while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Our room was very comfortable with air conditioning, nice linens, a small fridge, and electric kettle. Everything was sparkling clean and fresh.
We chose to have breakfast at the hotel for the additional charge of 17€. Good coffee, nice pastries, cookies, ham, hard boiled eggs, cheese, mixed fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices.
The location is very convenient for walking to many must do attractions in Paris and is very close to Metro stations for easy travel to further destinations. The best part is just being in the Latin Quarter area with all of the vibrant cafés, bistros, bars, and restaurants.

The hotel is in a great location – right in the heart of Saint Germain, perfect for walking and sightseeing. The lobby is beautiful and stylish, and the staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was a huge disappointment – so small that it was almost impossible to move around. For two people, it was practically unusable: just a bed and a TV on the wall. To get to the bathroom, you literally had to climb over the bed. The view from the window was just a wall – I don’t even know what it was, but I felt like I was in a basement. Definitely the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a shame, because the location and service were great, but the room conditions were nowhere near worth the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent choice for somewhere to stay in central Paris. Fairly basic, and we didn’t try the breakfast given the price, but fabulous location (less than 5 mins to metro, 10 mins to the Seine) with lots of local restaurant options (too many to choose from!!). Would stay here again.

Lovely small hotel in Paris
This is a very lovely small hotel in Paris. The staff was warm and inviting. I felt instantly at home. The bed was very comfortable and the large tub was perfect for a bubble bath at the end of the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - it is a very convenient location on the left bank. We walked to several really good restaurants and many shops. The continental breakfast was always delicious. And the staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

This is our 4th or 6th time at this hotel. Lovely rooms with an old world feel but modern conveniences. Great location and really nice breakfast. Although itvreally has become pricey since we first stayed here we would definitely come back.

We just loved the Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche. What luck to choose it blindly with an online reservation! The front desk staff (especially Ana and Stephanie) were most helpful and patient in fulfilling any requests. The public areas were nicely appointed and offered a welcome place to re-group before setting out for the day. I don't think there is a better location in all of Paris.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late March 2025. We have no complaints about anything—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly (and fluent in English), and breakfast was excellent (€15 for a simple yet satisfying set menu or €22 for a more complete breakfast). The hotel’s location was ideal: situated in the Latin Quarter near the Panthéon and just steps from the RER and metro stations. It’s also conveniently accessible via the RER from Charles de Gaulle Airport, just drop off at Luxembourg Station. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. A shout-out to the staff for making our stay pleasant!

It’s literally the worse place I’ve stayed and I wouldn’t even call it a hotel.
The room is embarrassingly small that’s jn no condition to be used as a hotel room. The bathroom makes no sense, sink is tiny and you can barely fit into the shower room, water spills everywhere. Door is leaking. Towel are not changed and cleaned diligently on a daily basis, you have to ask them to.
No kettle, they make you come down to beg them for water. Way to go for customer experience.
Ridiculously small tables that can fit nothing, I had to put my clothes in my luggage and luggage right near my bed. It’s frankly pathetic, even a brokeass hostel is bigger than that.
They also have pins on the wall and if you careless enough and drop one and step on it like I did, you ended up having a pin inside your feet. Yes, that actually happened!
Overall the worst place I’ve stayed in my 15+ of traveling, it is a nightmare for my otherwise fabulous time in Paris.

The hotel itself is decent, but the service at the hotel restaurant, particularly from the waiter, was far from satisfactory. He appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic about his work. His attitude was cold and unwelcoming, and he muttered comments under his breath, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on the service.

Came to this hotel last minute as the one I was supposed to stay at was disgusting. Anyways, was sooooo happy they were so accommodating. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need (great hair dryer). A great location at a really reasonable price. Thank you!!

The location is the best thing about this hotel! It’s within 5 minutes to the Luxembourg station and the Pantheon, and 10 minutes to the river front. The front desk is very helpful as well.
However, housekeeping has been very inconsistent. Sometimes they just took away the dirty towel on the floor without replacing with new ones. The filling of the pillows also had a dirty smell, which puffed out occasionally. I would have much preferred to have one clean pillow than the four pillows with mixed cleanliness. There was also some long hairs that belonged to a different ethnicity from me in the bed the first night, which was quite an unpleasant surprise.
