Overall, I was quite pleased with my stay at this hotel. I don't travel much, so I may not have many comparisons yet, but the room was tidy, the location was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There were some minor issues, like the room being quite small, the sink and shower head malfunctioning, the breakfast feeling a bit lackluster, and some slight disturbances, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again. However, I really want to emphasize just how nice and helpful the staff was - It was a very positive impression, and I felt no apprehension about asking questions or inquiring for help. The standard room (Double room - Classic) is rather small, especially for the price, but it still provides just enough space for 1 person. 2 people can still make-do with the small size, but it may feel quite cramped, especially if you are planning a longer stay or if you have a lot of luggage. My partner and I only had 3 backpacks worth of luggage, and had to get creative with how to store it. Despite the small size, the room was very well equipped, including a safe, mini-fridge, 2 small wardrobes, a coffee maker, and blackout curtains. There are a lot of bakeries, restaurants, and stores nearby, all easily accessible by walking. The metro is also easy to reach for longer distance travels. The hotel staff further provided personalized recommendations for us to check out prior to our check-in, and also had board games at the reception for us to play. 3 free bottles of water were provided to us in the room's minibar, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast is rather minimal and simple, so I would personally say it's not worth paying for. We had it included for free in our booking, but after the first morning we opted to just go outside and buy some more filling meals for breakfast instead. Snacks are provided in the lobby for free the entire day, which is quite nice to have. Throughout our stay, there was an occasional loud "bang" that reverberated throughout the hallways and made our room's door shake. I'm not sure what this was or why it happened, but it did startle me at times as it felt like someone was trying to barge into the room. The sauna is a nice wellness option to try out, and is included with the booking - It just requires a reservation.

We had a fantastic stay at Hôtel des Carmes by Malone and couldn’t recommend it more. The team were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and this started even before we arrived. After booking, we received a thoughtful email survey so they could tailor recommendations for walks, restaurants, and things to do — such a personal touch that immediately made us feel welcome. Each morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, and in the evenings the complimentary pick-and-mix was a fun and unexpected treat. It’s these little details that really set the hotel apart. Our room was beautiful — well decorated, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and a gorgeous bathroom. Everything felt carefully considered and cozy after long days exploring Paris. We would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Very satisfied! The staff were very kind and available. The room was clean and we really had a great time.

The hotel is newly renovated and modern, I especially like the shower facilities. The room is relatively small, suitable for one person. The window is very comfortable.

Stayed for 3 nights as a couple.

- Location: It was very convenient as it had good access to all areas and you could walk to the main tourist spots. The security is also good.
- Building: It was very clean and neat. The interior was very nice and it felt safe.
- Facilities: It was air conditioned and the shower was very comfortable. The room was compact but it was enough for two people.
- Service: The staff were all very kind and helpful. There were free snacks and juices in the lobby.

Despite the low price, it was new, clean and safe overall, so we were very satisfied.
It was a comfortable stay and I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Paris!
