Hotel Victor Masse in Paris

I have stayed at Hotel Victor Masse three times now, and I ALWAYS recommend it to friends and family. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, this hotel offers everything you need for an authentic Parisian experience!

Some rooms are dated, yes, but they are all always very clean. Friendly staff are eager to accommodate any reasonable requests, including for early check-in, or they will offer to store your tagged luggage in a secure lock room near reception. (Enjoy a stroll in Montmartre on day one if you arrive before your room is ready.) Use the free hotel wifi to stay connected instead of buying a SIM card.

Staff offer exceptional service, much friendlier than any of the ‘étoilée’ hotels in the city centre. Rates are very fair, especially if you book early.

Location is extremely good, and if you plan on using the metro, you can get just about anywhere in the city in 15-20 minutes. Travel tip: to save on fares, get a photo ID Navigo card from the Paris airport before taking the RER into the city - this is especially recommended for medium term stays and return visitors.

Try Soif, Bar à Vin across the street (one of the best wine bars in Paris — owner operated and curated) and Café Père Tanguy nearby.

Light sleepers staying over the weekend in summer should phone to request a court yard facing room — the streets can be noisy into the night. A large and spacious accessible room with a very large bathroom is also available. ♿️

The hotel is in an amazing location close to the best pastry and coffee shops. The room if a room with with balcony that is facing the street, shows this detailed architectural building and street view!

I was expecting less since it’s a 2 star hotel but I was surprised. The rooms are basic but definitely good enough for a few nights stay. Bathroom was small but sufficient. Beds were fine. There is no airconditioning but there is a fan. Breakfast was below average (only 1 croissant and 1/4 baguette, jam, butter and some cream cheese) but it worked. The location was amazing and staff was friendly. We didn’t experience any noise from other rooms, but actually from the street (a lot of bars nearby). But hey, you stay in a super nice area in Paris and earplugs combined with closed windows worked well. All in all the feeling in this hotel was great. Would definitely return. Tip: the luggage room gets really hot so don’t keep medicine or food in your bag!

Just a good experience. The rooms are clean, the beds are good, the location is great and the rooms are very affordable.

Bathrooms are a little bit outdated and small, the breakfast is mediocre but good enough to start the day, there's no AC but there's a fan in the room which is sufficient when you combine this with the window shutters.

Would definitely visit again.

One tip: the luggage storage room can get hot, don't leave any chocolate in your luggage.

I was hoping that the hotel would be as good as the reviews were , and to my surprise it was better than the reviews.

The room size was great if you are familiar with the sizes of the hotels rooms in Paris. The site is very near of all touristic sites. Comfortable bed and pillow , very clean sheets , very good shower and toilet , wifi available , very beautiful view on the street , decent and fair breakfast 🥐 , croissant and bread , two types of cheese , jam and butter , orange juice and coffee machine were u can press and have several types of coffee.
The only thing they did not have at room is AC , there is a fan , but I don't like fans and to be honest who needs an AC at Paris , i went in June and the weather was just great at day and little cold at night
Very professional and helpful staff .
I will surely revisit the hotel again in my next trip to Paris .
This hotel also take a great importance to hygiene and the cleanness of the rooms .

Great small hotel..!! Super clean and well-kept ; reception is fantastic ; breakfast is worth twice the price... with maybe the best croissants in all of Paris. Value for the money is extraordinary.

Our first night in Paris we stayed in a dirty, run down, creepy hotel that was a 3 star but then moved here! It was like moving to paradise! The rooms are more than big eniugh, they are clean and modern, the bathrooms are huge and beautiful. Location is great.
The staff/owners are very friendly, helpful and speak english. We only booked for one night but they were nice enough to move some things around and let us stay a second night.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel in Paris, stay here!
Don't let the 2 star fool you, this place should be at least a 4 star!!!!!
