Reviews
Faced issues related to early check-in, main door locking and cleaning service during my stay and it was not pleasant. Biggest disappointment was the toilet which was unexpectedly very narrow and tiny. Wouldn't consider this property if I need an early check-in for my future stays since there is no process in place to help or respond. Attitude of the day time check-in staff in enabling early check-in requests is also very bad. Service requests related to issues in the apartment need to be addressed in time instead of repeated follow-ups. Service standards are very poor for the paid room cleaning. Also if on business, the ability to work from the apartment is hindered since I couldn't work on my laptop for long as the power outlets were very far from the table and the chairs were not ergonomic. Although at the time of booking it was mentioned that a standard workstation is provided in each room, there was only a dining table with small chairs which I had to use and then dangle the power cord to the power outlet on the opposite wall inviting danger of tripping on the cord.
I would never recommend anyone to use the service of the hotel due to their unprofesionalism.
On top of that, I was given a cheaper room than the one I had booked and paid for. Despite asking about it six times, I never got a refund or even a proper response. In the end, they just told me to message through Booking.com because they were “only reception.” Extremely unprofessional overall.
Breakfast was decent though — just avoid the so-called scrambled eggs.
- The staff is inattentive and rude. I heard them insult each other in front of customers. I also saw them chat in a group while customers were left alone.
- The first room that I got had doors and windows so old that the wind came in. It was too loud to sleep (because it is directly on the ring road in Paris) and it was too cold as well.
- The staff changed my room but the other one was not much better. There were also screw holes through which the wind could come in.
- There were spots of juice or wine on the ceiling
- The carpet in the hall smelled like cigarette and humidity
- The plug in the bath was broken
- There were clumps of dust in several areas like the ventilation traps
- The ventilation system was too loud to use (I left it off to be able to sleep)
- The fridge was also very loud when it ran
- There were several pieces of hair from previous customers in the bathroom and on the shower head
- The paint was peeling off in many places
- Parts of the main door were not glued properly anymore
- The electrical sockets were sticking out of the wall because they were not secured properly, exposing the electrical cables
- I found travel documents of the previous customer (so the cleaning was not done properly)
- There was just one coat hanger (but I had a jacket and several shirts to hang)
- The wall are paper thin, so the neighbors are easy to hear
- The water in my room tasted quite bad (although I drink tap water daily everywhere I go)
- I got diarrhea from the water at the reception (a big bottle with orange slices at the bottom). The employees had not refilled it so took the very last drops.
- Breakfast is terrible. The coffee is bitter, the eggs taste weird, and the bacon was cold.
- Breakfast starts at 7:00, which is one of the biggest problems with the hotel. I had to leave at 7:15 because of traffic, so that left me with only 15 minutes to eat. When I arrived in the breakfast room at 6:57, they made a scene because I was not following the rules.
- The area is also not that great. The hotel is between two metro stations, but it takes 10-12 minutes to either. The bakeries, restaurants, and other stores are also 10-15 minutes away.
Studio was big enough, however toilet and bathroom separatly wasn't the best choice - both are so small it's difficult to use them even for slim person. Electric kettle and dishwasher were broken (they replaced them the same day, but still).
Parking space was narrow and it was pretty tough to use public transfortation.
