This is 5 star 3 star - Ilya was a fantastic and welcoming hostess 👏👏👏

From the moment of arrival to our departure the Hotel de Madeline de Senlis until our departure, everything was perfect. The location is excellent for exploring Paris. Every member of staff was a model of kindness and courtesy. Our rooms were immaculate. They were small, but larger ones are available and would be a wise investment for dual occupancy. Breakfast was modestly priced and presented with care. Altogether a delightful place to stay.

Fantatic hotel in the Latin quarter.

Rooms very clean and well-appointed. Staff super helpful and friendly. They had even arranged a harp & carol performance in the lobby for guests, on a couple of nights near to Christmas.

Absolutely top notch breakfast, with delicious homemade cakes, museli, bread, salad - as well as usual meats, cheese etc. Eggs cooked on request.

Underground pool in atmospheric cellar is small but can be booked to be completely private. Be aware that means you can't just turn up.

I highly recommend this hotel.
The building is wonderfully historic but it has been renovated tastefully. The staff are very professional and helpful. The location is great.

We stayed in this gorgeous hotel from Monday 3rd to Thursday 5th November. This is a real hidden gem in Paris. The staff could not have done more for us, making us feel really welcome and giving us a fabulous Parisian experience. Breakfast was superb, with made to order boiled eggs and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake , to relax after a busy day sightseeing. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Great location, beautifully designed, and comfortable rooms. The day staff was friendly and helpful, but the gentleman at the desk at night was completely uninterested. Rooms directly on the stairs are very noisy and should have double doors. Filtered water provided in the lobby was nice. The coffee machine was broken for 3 days and there was no attempt by the hotel to find an alternative way to provide coffee at breakfast. Only after I complained was a refund provided. That lack of interest was a sour note to an otherwise lovely stay. Many English-speaking guests but no English news channel on the tv is an odd omission.

From the moment I walked into this chic, boutique Parisien hotel in the Latin Quarter I felt a very warm welcome. Every detail was just as I would have wished for. The room was charming and exceptionally clean. The bed linen crisp, the towels luxurious and the Fragonard toiletries were a lovely touch. Whilst every physical element of this hotel was top notch, it was the service that took this experience from being five star to seven stars. Pauline and Charlene @ reception were simply outstanding. Even after a 12 hour shift, Pauline was still smiling and dispensing friendly, professional advice. Their service values were on par with that of a concierge at a five star hotel. I can’t thank them enough for making us feel at home.

The staff were all wonderful! Professional, responsive, friendly, energetic and engaged and able and willing to help with anything and everything from taxi arrangements to restaurant recommendations. The room was charming and meticulously cleaned and maintained.

Everything was perfect: breakfast, rooms, cleaning, pool, strategic location for visiting every part of the city. I literally fell in love with it!

I can recommend this hotel where I stayed 13 nights: Here are some highlights: 1. Great Latin Quarter location near Luxembourg Garden and Pantheon 2. Easy access to all transit 3. Extensively remodeled and updated (opened late last year) 4. Modern bathrooms are immaculate and well-designed 5. Pleasant front desk staff, available 24/7 6. Charming design throughout 7. Nice Fragonard toiletries 8. Wonderful balance between price and value 9. Breakfast available for purchase each morning 10. Walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and cafes 11. Swimming pool - who has a swimming pool? 12. Located on quiet street - feels very safe. 13. Rooms are small but the price reflects that 14. Would definitely return another time

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late March 2025. We have no complaints about anything—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly (and fluent in English), and breakfast was excellent (€15 for a simple yet satisfying set menu or €22 for a more complete breakfast). The hotel’s location was ideal: situated in the Latin Quarter near the Panthéon and just steps from the RER and metro stations. It’s also conveniently accessible via the RER from Charles de Gaulle Airport, just drop off at Luxembourg Station. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. A shout-out to the staff for making our stay pleasant!

It’s literally the worse place I’ve stayed and I wouldn’t even call it a hotel.
The room is embarrassingly small that’s jn no condition to be used as a hotel room. The bathroom makes no sense, sink is tiny and you can barely fit into the shower room, water spills everywhere. Door is leaking. Towel are not changed and cleaned diligently on a daily basis, you have to ask them to.
No kettle, they make you come down to beg them for water. Way to go for customer experience.
Ridiculously small tables that can fit nothing, I had to put my clothes in my luggage and luggage right near my bed. It’s frankly pathetic, even a brokeass hostel is bigger than that.

They also have pins on the wall and if you careless enough and drop one and step on it like I did, you ended up having a pin inside your feet. Yes, that actually happened!

Overall the worst place I’ve stayed in my 15+ of traveling, it is a nightmare for my otherwise fabulous time in Paris.

The hotel itself is decent, but the service at the hotel restaurant, particularly from the waiter, was far from satisfactory. He appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic about his work. His attitude was cold and unwelcoming, and he muttered comments under his breath, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on the service.

Came to this hotel last minute as the one I was supposed to stay at was disgusting. Anyways, was sooooo happy they were so accommodating. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need (great hair dryer). A great location at a really reasonable price. Thank you!!

The location is the best thing about this hotel! It’s within 5 minutes to the Luxembourg station and the Pantheon, and 10 minutes to the river front. The front desk is very helpful as well.
However, housekeeping has been very inconsistent. Sometimes they just took away the dirty towel on the floor without replacing with new ones. The filling of the pillows also had a dirty smell, which puffed out occasionally. I would have much preferred to have one clean pillow than the four pillows with mixed cleanliness. There was also some long hairs that belonged to a different ethnicity from me in the bed the first night, which was quite an unpleasant surprise.

Restaurant Le Coupe Chou (5 min)
