Bitterly disappointed to check in only to be told that the restaurant is closed. While booking the web information led us to believe that the restaurant would be open. On this basis we made the booking. If we had known that the restaurant was going to be closed we would not have booked this hotel and would have chosen something else!
On re-checking we found different information on different pages of the hotel description! One place says that it is open EVERY day. Another says closed Sunday and Monday. A third says closed on Fridays and Saturdays!
We'd been driving 10 hours and just wanted to check in and relax over a nice dinner... not go walking or driving somewhere to find food. The availability of a restaurant is the main reason we booked this hotel.. since it was not available, this is reflected in the low score.
Furthermore, during booking I was offered the choice of booking a two-course dinner on the night of our stay... if I had chosen to do so, I wonder what would have happened to the extra 36 euros, given that the restaurant (and obviously the kitchen) was closed!!
Otherwise, it was clean and the room and the bed, comfortable... but for all the reasons above, I doubt that we will be staying here again.

Room was not clean,blood stains on the carpet which could have easily been cleaned off. The hotel which we have used many times has definitely gone downhill. We always enjoyed staying but now it leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast is lacking as it used to be very good.

The hotel is at a good location.
The hotel doesn't have a elevator.
Rooms are small and also the bedroom. When we arrived there was only one towel but the receptionist gave us more when we complained.
At the hotel animals are allowed as we heard a dog barking in one of the rooms. Breakfast looks.

Helpful staff & excellent if limited menu. Looking a little tired in places but a quiet base to explore this historic city & cathedral

Not up to usual standards
Had to change rooms asnewly furbished rooms had lack of electricity to plugs and lights..The new room was nice to look at but was not very clean ie toilet was dirty under rim, flies on the counter in the bedroom under curtains, the sink was grimy. It's not what we have come to expect of the Ibis hotel in Luce. We have stayed here many times

Room small. Bed large. Dinner and service disappointing. Breakfast good but wife just says ok.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff are really friendly and the rooms reasonable. The breakfast was great, they even do small gluten free bread products that they cook on request and come out hot and really delicious. The only bummer is the lack of elevator.

The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast simple but adequate with something for everyone. The hotel is very tired and shabby. Secure night time parking was a bonus!
