Hôtel des Falaises in Etretat

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, right across from a restaurant. I actually enjoyed falling asleep to the soft sounds and music coming from there in the evenings.

The bedding was exceptional — the sheets and linens were so comfortable that I would love to have the same ones at home. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a super location. The rooms and the hotel is very dated and in need of a makeover. There is no air-conditioning or fan. A real basic room.
Thankfully the beds were comfortable for a good night of sleep.
They were fully booked, and the lady at reception was alone and overwhelmed.

- no parking (the main reason of my booking the hotel was that they indicated on Booking the availability of parking and when the booking was confirmed, they informed me that there is no parking available and recommended me a parking nearby. I would not recommend it there cause of the huge costs and high percentage of car robbing)
- rule of returning the key when you leave the room. I did not see in other hotels and find it strange if I do not want my room to be cleaned
- After I booked the hotel at the Booking and entered the bank details, I received a separate email to pay for the hotel. I find it strange that you need to enter the card details twice and at the unknown website

In overall it is not bad hotel but for this price they can improve their key and payment policy to make it easier for the visitors. Attaching the view from our window.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this hotel with our family. We really enjoyed the service and the French breakfast. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bed linen was especially soft and pleasant. Everything in the room was very clean, and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom. We highly recommend this hotel. It is located right in the city center, making it very easy to get anywhere.

Wonderful, central location near the water. Downside is crazy (very busy tourist attraction at the cliffs) parking and absence of elevator. Staff work hard to make you welcome.

Family Trip Great Hotel
We had two rooms on two floors for our family if 5. It was perfect. The location can’t be beat- we were able to hike all morning and then stop in to shower before walking to the shops and dinner.

/ETRETAT - WEEK END
Très bien placé dans le Centre. Inconvénient : pas de parking des box à disposition mais à 900 mètre de l'hôtel et assez onéreux. Petit déjeuner : cher pour le rapport qualité prix

We booked a triple room, the room was a bit small, the bathroom was a bit small, there was no elevator, the room was on the top floor, and we climbed several floors with our luggage, which was a bit tiring. The breakfast was simple, and you could see the sea from the room.

Love that the room but especially shower were modern and updated while it’s in a historic building. Location is perfect.
