Picnic Hostel in Kutaisi

A little out of the way especially if you're coming from the bus station. It feels a little like your wandering into a residential neighborhood. Look for the the house with a red gate/fence after turning right at the old kiosk. Inside however it's a classic hostel with a spacious well kept and decorated dorm, where you're likely to meet other backpackers. There's a small kitchenette with a fridge-freezer, cutlery and a kettle although no cooker. The washing machine is available to use free of charge as well. There is a lovely view of Kutaisi from both the balcony and garden where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast. The owner is helpful and speaks limited English and will happily ferry you to a destination in the city for a small fee, (5GEL to the main marshutkya station).

Very climatic. Helpful host. Beautiful panorama of Kutaisi from a lovely green patio. Neat and tidy.
