Description
New project of the founders of Gudauri Dacha — freshly built hostel in the heart of Batumi. Inspired by surf culture and is based kite surfers and snowboarders, this is one of the best spots for all who can not imagine my life without travelling, active lifestyle and fun fellowship with old and new friends. On site there is a chill-out bar combined with an outdoor courtyard where you can spend time playing Board games.
This adult-only hotel 16+.
Located in Batumi, within a one minute walk from the Central Europe square and five minutes from the beach, 8 km from the airport of Batumi.
Consists of one building.
Only 16 seats.Beach: public pebble beach in 500 m from the hotel (2 coastline). Umbrellas, sun beds: free.

The cockroaches are not only in the bedrooms and bathrooms, but also in the kitchen: in the cupboards, on the dishes, in the toaster, etc. Be prepared to have a cockroach fall from the slippery lamp, while you're sipping your coffee at the kitchen table. It's disgusting.
The staff cleans the premises and washes the bedsheets with incredible amounts of cockroach poison on a daily basis, which doesn't solve the problem but is detrimental to your health.
Apart from that, the hostel owner doesn't do much to even fix basic things, such as the lamp or the shelf next to the beds. He even happened to come into the female dorm without knocking during my stay.
I honestly don't understand why this hostel is still in business. You don't do yourself a favor staying there.
At the surf hostel he was very unfriendly and rude, at the back2me hostel he actually ripped us off.
When the ceiling above our bed started dripping on us, we still stayed for the first night we had booked, but on the second day we decided to leave. The water was dripping directly on our bed from a mouldy patch above.
He promised to refund our money for the second night when we had to change hostels, but now it has been around 6 weeks and he won’t answer our emails or refund the money.
Both hostels are very dark with no natural light or ventilation and the smell from the sewage pipes gets caught in the rooms.
The staff are nice, but the owner has them wound very tight and treats them poorly in front of the guests.
Avoid both these hostels.
Coming back this time was a bad experience. My food was stolen from the kitchen. Late night 2am staff and guest who lives here talking outside my dorm. I made a complaint to the safe in question but it did not stop. I would not stay here again
