Great resort at a super nice lake. Landscape and the hotel facilities are clearly the highlight. The new gym with proper equipment was my personal highlight. A bit pricey but definitely nice especially with children.

This is quite a remarkable resort in a country still trying to free itself from the long shadow of former Soviet domination. The setting is pristine, with a beautiful lake and extensive grounds. There are multiple recreational options available and multiple dining choices as well. Service is first rate. Poor service, water in the shower is almost cold. SPA wasn't fully functional, even though I asked before booking if it was working and was told that it was. When I asked to check out early with partial refund for these reasons, they refused my request.

So, except for the non-working wifi (not in the room, not in the lobby), the cold temperature everywhere (we were at the end of October), cockroaches in the bathroom, hair on the toilet and on the floor, no calm music in lobby - everything is OK... It's cozy and clean. However, they don't provide room service unless you ask. My room door doesn't lock properly and DO NOT DISTURB button doesn't work. Also the balcony door doesn't lock. They don't have a safe either. Breakfast is great though.

Staying with Cico was unquestionably one of my best experiences in Georgia. The house is huge! Good guesthouse. There are small flaws: the repair in the guest rooms has not been done for a long time, there is little lighting. But on the whole it is good, as there is a bathroom everywhere and the hostess Tsitso prepares such breakfasts, which is enough until dinner. It's quite old overall, and the facilities are a bit basic. There are several restaurants and banks nearby, making it convenient to withdraw money. The place is not very modern, but the young host is amazingly worm person. When I had to stay for another night in Telqvi, because we have returned too late to going straight to Tbilisi, he took me for free.

Lilia was so welcoming to our family. She offered us coffee and tea and churchkhela. Her husband showed us his winemaking cellar and shared a taste of wine. On the morning we left she made us fresh pancakes. The rooms were good, with shared spaces: a small kitchen, lounge area, and a porch overlooking a lovely garden. It’s a few blocks from downtown.
