I stayed at this hotel last year, and it was an awful experience. We arrived for a late check-in and paid the full amount, but the receptionist told us we would still need to check out at the standard time. However, since our friend was also staying at the hotel, we were told we could use the pool until 6 PM.
We went out to buy swimming shorts and came back to relax, but after just an hour, the manager approached us and very rudely told us we had to leave the hotel. He was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We had already confirmed with the receptionist beforehand, and they told us it wouldn’t be a problem.
Overall, I do not recommend this hotel due to the poor communication and the manager’s rude behavior.

Breakfast was paid for, but not provided. In the evening, bar/restaurant was supposed to close by 12, but was closed when we went there at 9:30. Nobody speaks English, even with Google translate simple questions (where is breakfast?) do not get you any help. Rooms are clean, wifi works. About twice as expensive as other options close by. Absolutely not recommended.

Absolutely great experience at Sviana resort. Unique place to stay. Close to mountains, seems like a retreat center. Perfect pool, very friendly staff, real Russian sauna for whom it appreciates. I would like to recommend staying without any doubts! All great! Thanks to Sviana resort team.

Great place for vacation with family or with friends, pleasant personal and delicious dishes. Apartment s very clean with big balcony, and most important big clean pool for adults and a little one for children. In total I am very satisfied with my family with this vacation.

The Sviana Resort is a beautiful place to relax and have an unforgettable holliday with your family or friends. Also, you can stay there before travel to Tusheti. At Sviana Resort there are huge and cozy traditional rooms with single and dabble beds and individual cottages with kitchen for two or more people. I highly recommend Sviana Resort restaurant where you can taste all flavors of authentic Georgian food - Mtsvadi, Pork ribs, Dambalkhacho, Khinkali, drink Georgian wine and enjoy Georgian folklore music. At Sviana Resort they also offer different food masterclasses , sports fishing and several walking, horseback riding and travel tours.

Newly opened hotel with some additional amenities. The place is really nice, right next to the river. Green grass in the yard is giving relaxing effect. Rooms are huge and bright, with balconies. My room (N306) had even 2 balconies: one smaller and another huge one. All toiletries available, including toothbrush and slippers. Towels and bathrobes are good. Bathroom is modern and clean. In the room I had one big and 2 small sofas, table and electric kettle, also complementary water. Breakfast choice was including really good coffee and choice of hot dishes. In the on-site restaurant local cuisine is offered with its best. We tried some Mtsvadi, Kotori, mushrooms, also some salads. The dinner is served with local wine, which was also really good.
The resort can be perfect choice to overnight for those going to Tusheti, or other ones who want to stay away from daily crowd.
