Citadel Narikala Hotel in Tbilisi

Incredible staff, great location!

This is a beautiful property with a stunning view across Tbilisi Old Town. Breakfast is delicious. If you're in Tbilisi, this is one of the best places to stay, if you can manage the steep climb up the hill.

Excellent location for old town with easy access Ro a few spots within walking distance. The room was very clean, spacious and wonderful view on the balcony especially at night. Breakfast was very nice with a good variation over the three days we stayed there.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location, right at the foot of the Narikala fortress, overlooking the city. The beds are comfortable, the linens are clean!
The view is simply magnificent!
Now about the cons: I reduced one point for convenience due to the lack of parking. At least for planting and disembarking, you need to clear a small area and fence it off with cones.
Minus point for cleanliness because there is a strong smell in the toilet. Ventilation of the toilet room is not a solution.
Otherwise, the stay is comfortable. I would like to wish to diversify the buffet with more Georgian dishes!

The location is very good. It is only 100m away from Narikala Castle. It is also very close to the European Square and the Peace Bridge. It can be walked in 5 minutes. It is very suitable as the starting point of the city walk. It can also walk to the sulfur bath in 2 minutes and is surrounded by businesses. There are many currency exchange points in the area and hotels.
The hotel room has a balcony with a very good view, and the night view is great.
The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good, the service was very friendly, and the front desk spoke English very well.
Disadvantages: The room facilities are not new, the sound insulation is not very good, the hotel is on a steep uphill slope, and you need to climb back to the hotel.
Generally speaking, it is highly recommended. The price/performance ratio is very high. The location is excellent. The night view is beautiful. It is worth staying.

Lovely hotel with great views over the river from your balcony or the hotels rooftop terrace. Spacious room. The hotel has been decorated with elegance and an eye for the history of the location. The archeological treasures that were found building the place are on display with a great explanation. The breakfast is abundant and in a very cosy restaurant.

The hotel is located near Narikala fortress where you have a birds eye view of the city. Good time during sunset. The hotel is bright, recently renovated and clean. Staff are very attentive. Restaurant, rooftop bar and rooms have amazing views. Be prepared for a 10 min climb to reach the lobby. Enjoyed my stay!

Stunning views, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it for a nice short visit to the city
