Villaggio Mirzaani Resort in Sighnaghi

Our stay at this hotel was highly disappointing from start to finish. The first issue was the location: the listing on Booking.com states that the hotel is 8 km from the center of Signagi, but in reality it is at least 16–18 km away, which made getting there much more inconvenient than expected.

Even worse, although I had a confirmed reservation, the hotel claimed they couldn’t find my booking in their system. I was told that maybe someone at reception forgot to enter it, which is not something guests should have to worry about.

We had booked a room with a jacuzzi, but upon arrival we were informed it was no longer available. They offered us a regular room “as the only one left,” but when we went to check it, the room was not even clean, despite us arriving around 6 PM, long after standard check-in time.

Although they offered a discount on the room, we honestly felt that—given the series of mistakes on their side—the room should have been provided free of charge as a gesture of responsibility and hospitality. The manager, a very young girl, seemed inexperienced and came across with an unprofessional attitude during the conversation, which only added to the frustration.

We didn’t want to drive back another 18 km, so we accepted the discounted room. However, we were then left waiting 20–30 minutes for the cleaning to be done, and during that time nobody offered us even a coffee or water—no basic attempt to make up for the situation.

To make matters worse, there is a restaurant on the hotel’s territory, and during our stay there was a loud party happening right next to the building. The noise was unbearable, and at one point the guests started fighting and shouting profanity. It felt completely unmanaged, and staff did not resolve the situation in a timely or effective way.

Overall, we left highly disappointed. We had planned just one day to relax and enjoy our time, and their lack of organization, poor hospitality, and unprofessional handling of every issue ruined our weekend. I truly hope they take these problems seriously and improve their management.

One of the worst experience of hotel so far. We booked the place via booking.com for a room jacuzzi with view on the mountain. When we arrived there, the lady at counter said she doesn't have our booking and they gave the room. She offered another room but this time without jacuzzi or mountain view. And worst than that she said we need to pay for it.
Obviously this wasn't okay and our fault, so we asked to see the manager, and here comes the worst part of the experience. Here comes the so called "manager" who is a 20yo lady with a despicable attitude on the verge of being aggressive and insolent toward us. Obvisouly she didn't change anything except to say that we have no choice and it's either that or we can find something else. It was 6 pm, what else could we do ? Worse part, the room wasn't ready and we still had to wait 20min for the cleaning to be done. During this time, they haven't even offered us some water or coffee or any discount to make up for their mistake.
Then came the restaurant who was full with an outside event so we had to order the food to the room, obviously they'll charge you 10% more for room delivery, but you don't have any other choice. The food came from the cold, without any covering so it was cold and not tasty at all.
Forget about sleeping with window open, because you can hear the loud music from the restaurant all night, or worse, people FIGHTING and SCREAMING at 1 am. Yeah that's right, there was a fight, and no ONE from the hotel moved a finger to act on it. They even refused to call the police even knowing there was a guy severely beaten.
On a more positive note, the hotel is nicely located with a nice view but it is FAR from the city and in the middle of nowhere. Having a car is a MUST have otherwise you're stuck. Hotel room was approximately clean, but our bed lamp were broken and toilet was leaking. Overall this hotel will lure you in a "luxury place with standards" but please FLEE this place because none of what we expected was up to the bare minimum.

And looking afterward at the comment it appears that we are far from being the first one. So I guess other good comments I genuinely think are fakes.

Total disappointment! The food was not tasty at all and the kitchen looked unsanitary, which made me lose my appetite. The environment throughout the hotel felt dirty and poorly maintained. On top of that, the interior design had no sense of taste or style, which made the overall atmosphere even less welcoming. Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. In the photos, it looks much more beautiful than it actually is. The views are truly stunning. The indoor pool is located in an outdoor area, so it’s uncomfortable to go outside in bad weather just to get to the pool. The pool itself wasn’t very well-maintained — there was a strange smell and the water was cold. The yard also wasn’t very well-kept. The hotel restaurant didn’t impress with its food, and breakfast lacked variety — the only tasty thing was the khinkali. To sum up, I wouldn’t go there again.
