The only drawback is the distance from centre of town, but since this is a resort, it is acceptable. It has beautiful grounds, outside swimming pools (one of olympic size) and also has an indoor pool, gym, pathways in a green area with many trees, nice premises and a good restaurant. Great if you have a car or is in a group excursion. It is very quiet and relaxing. Recommended.

This is a very good hotel, but the breakfast is disappointing. The pool is clean, and the resort is surrounded by pine trees, creating a pleasant atmosphere. As a large family, we spent 1 week in the resort, some in the rooms of the main building, some in a cottage. Placed in the forest, the resort is quiet and with very wide walking area including a children's playground, a snooker table (in a separate building), and 2 very large outdoor pools (and a small one inside with 2 saunas and a gym hall). I was there with my workmates. We booked a room with discount. To sum up it's a clean standard small hotel, with standard breakfast, great staff.. It's a good idea for weekend , because it's a short away from Tbilisi. I especially liked balcony, too big and stunning views. p.s. pool really needed better cleaning system.

I stayed one night at this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour of Caucasus, so the hotel was not chosen by me. That said, I wish we had had more than one night there - it's in a beautiful location, has a lovely pool / bar area, and I slept really well. My only slight improvement would be that the breakfast wasn't quite as good as some of the others we had in Georgia, but that's a minor niggle really...

This comfortable, very clean hotel is a real treat. Situated in a tranquil rural setting, the view from my balcony was delightful. My room was nicely appointed and the bed was comfy with quality linens. I had a very restful night! Dinner in the restaurant was home style and food. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We celebrated my brother's and now sister-in-law's wedding here. The venue was absolutely wonderful, the staff was very friendly, considering we were partying for two days straight. Food was delicious and the hotel is located in such a stunning place, with fresh air and horses wandering about. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, room service were also super sweet and welcoming.

We had our wedding at this chateau at the end of April, and everything was perfect. The staff was professional and polite, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chateau itself is beautiful and set in a peaceful, scenic location. I truly can’t wait to come back in a couple of years!

We had an excellent time in Communal Hotel Telavi, we enjoyed absolutely everything there, I had an impression to be in the scenery of one of Wes Anderson films, especially on the swimming pool side. The service is on the high level, everybody was friendly, we loved that Nino, the manager, was very helpful. The breakfast was even better than it looks on the photos! Such a shame that we couldn't check...

Everything was excellent. We've spent amazing time here. Hotel's stuff was exceptionally friendly, they helped us with navigation in Telavi and assisted us with finding a taxi driver for a whole day to visit local sights around the town. Room was decorated beautifully and even had a wine rack. There is a nice pool in the yard.

Great place in the center of Telavi with super nice staff and service. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.
