Zuzumbo Resort & SPA in Telavi

The best place in Kakheti. The place which you should visit. I am Georgian and they have the best food, best stuff, best location, they are simply best. I hope they will always remain their hotel on such a high level.

I can't help but express my delight with this hotel!!! We had a vacation as a group from Ukraine on June 7 and June 8, 2021, the organizer was Viktor Ermolaev. Gorgeous location, the opportunity to walk and lie in hammocks in the forest, the presence of outdoor and indoor pools (one of which is heated), which made it possible to swim even late at night))) Friendly staff))) Everything is very clean and tidy! Very quiet and calm! The Internet catches throughout the territory and even in the forest without interruptions! Of all the hotels where we stayed on our trip, you are the best!!! Well, and special thanks for the treats that you gave us on the road!!! It was very nice!!! Prosperity to your hotel and as many grateful vacationers as possible!!!

The only drawback is the distance from centre of town, but since this is a resort, it is acceptable. It has beautiful grounds, outside swimming pools (one of olympic size) and also has an indoor pool, gym, pathways in a green area with many trees, nice premises and a good restaurant. Great if you have a car or is in a group excursion. It is very quiet and relaxing. Recommended.

This is a very good hotel, but the breakfast is disappointing. The pool is clean, and the resort is surrounded by pine trees, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but our deluxe room did not feel high-class at all. The toilets had a bad smell in the morning. The resort has a small sauna, massage rooms, an indoor pool, and showers, with many entertainment options for children. The large pool is very clean, but the smaller pool is not as well-maintained and is a bit dirty. Despite these issues, I would recommend this hotel for family travel.

The one of the best hotel in the Kakheti.very friendly an helpful staff. Very smart and smiling receptionist girl who's give us detail information about hotel services. Was my friends birthday, And they welcomed us with greeting card with wine and birthday cake. food was delicious waitress and waiters are very friendly as well. As a large family, we spent 1 week in the resort, some in the rooms of the main building, some in a cottage. Placed in the forest, the resort is quiet and with very wide walking area including a children's playground, a snooker table (in a separate building), and 2 very large outdoor pools (and a small one inside with 2 saunas and a gym hall). Also, the parking area is large but only relatively protected by the security gate (as one can enter the premises via the forest as the resort has no fence). In summary, spacious and quiet. Outside the entrance are standing different bikes, also for the children that can be used freely. Nice service! Rooms and cottages are quite large with a balcony and all the necessary attributes in the in large bathroom. Surprisingly, some items are missing as the waste bin in the room (with only a small one in the bathroom). The most annoying is however the total lack of information about available services and a “do not disturb/clean up my room” sign to hang at the outside doorknob. While opening times for the breakfast and restaurant are told at the reception on arrival, for all other services information is missing, including phone numbers for them. As the place is also a spa resort one does not have any idea witch spa services, if any, are available and at what price. By calling reception one discovers there is also a room service (but without a menu in the room). The information by phone about the available food and its price however does mention it does not include VAT of 18%. On top of it, when the food arrives one is confronted with an additional 14 GEL (5 Euro) “room service”. The simple but already pricey khachapuri – sort of Georgian cheese pizza - suddenly appears to be double so expensive. The included breakfast was OK with practically the same food every day. For 1-2 days it is fine but when staying for 1 week it gets a bit monotone. The restaurant on the 5th and 6th floor has a good choice of food, both Georgian and foreign (hamburgers, pasta and pizzas). The wine choice is limited to one brand and the beer to a few foreign brands. The food is really good and the wine OK although in a wine region like Kakheti, one expects a wider choice. The prices are quite high but not exaggerated, perhaps with the exception of the beer as it comes in bottles in 300 ml (while not indicated on the menu). Only on some menus, there is an additional small stamp added, announcing that VAT is not included. Please, correct this when reprinting the menu. This must be not difficult as the menu consists of one sheet of paper. The service is in general good, both concerning accommodation and the restaurant. Only at the reception, the ladies sometimes looked as if they had a toothache…perhaps they had. In conclusion: a good place to visit, but not perfect. Most annoying is the lack of written info and signs for the door in the rooms/cottages with as a result some delays or unpleasant surprises. This can be however easily correc

This is a wonderful hotel with a very cozy and comfortable environment. The hotel is located in the heart of green trees on the top of the mountain. I guess this is the area of Telavi uptown, and the air is always fresh. I loved indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Me and my friend had a very relaxing evening walking in the hotel's garden. The service is excellent. Staff members are friendly, very polite, and positively smiled. We stayed in one of the main hotel's cottages, which has a wonderful view of the town of Telavi and the mountain range through the green trees. The food was clean and delicious.

Excellent cozy hotel, booked 3-bed rooms. The view from the balcony is stunning on the mountains!

Comfortable rooms. Very good food. Has its own bread oven and we had a participitave bread making display. Bar. Outdoor seating in courtyard. No lift / elevator. Some rooms with balcony.
