Olymp in Gudauri

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days and I do not recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is the worst in all of Gudauri. The issue is not even that it is more expensive than other places — the real problem is the food quality.
Twice I was served spoiled soup, which they tried to mask by adding vinegar. After my complaints, they apologized, of course, but that does not change the fact that spoiled food is being served to guests.

I tried many dishes, and it honestly felt like the food was prepared not by a professional chef, but by a waiter. There are much better and tastier restaurants nearby.

Housekeeping is terrible. They couldn’t even replace used tea bags with new ones. When we checked in, there were used cotton swabs left in the bathroom, and no one cleaned them up — not before our arrival, and not during the entire 9-day stay.

The receptionist — an English-speaking, slightly overweight woman — was completely incompetent. I clearly explained that the door lock was not working and needed to be fixed, as this was not the first time, and that simply changing the key cards would not help.
Despite this, she only issued new key cards. The door still did not open, and I had to go back to the reception and wait another 30 minutes just to get into the room.

This hotel is definitely not anything like a 5 star hotel. Our stay here has been incredibly disappointing. The pool/sauna is chargeable 120 gel, even though we stayed at the hotel. We were also given only half a roll of toilet paper, even though we were staying here 5 days, and were refused additional rolls. The ski locker is also chargeable separately. Finally, the pool itself is too cold to be a winter pool, and the 4 cheese pizza at the restaurant is tasteless, despite being charged 38aed, a high price for georgia. Very expensive hotel, and very disappointing for the price. My stay at Gudauri lodge next door was a whole lot better.
