Very strange behaving and rude hosts. Our driver brought our suitcases but the hosts didn’t allow him to bring them inside the house and instead instructed him to leave all suitcases outside for the guests to pick them up.
On top of that, the host verbally abused one of the guests who wanted to use the bathroom and in the end slammed the door in our face. The location of the house is in the middle of nowhere, no shops around, the ski resort is far away and the road leading to the house is not being cleaned by the hosts, so you have to carry all the luggages up the hill because it’s impossible to get there with a car during winter unless it’s specifically equipped for off-road.

This chalet comes with a bonus it’s hosts who are not adequate. Igor the host says himself that he has mental issues

As I arrived at the property on the date of the check-in, the road to the property was a steep hill which was not cleaned and was fully covered by ice and therefore extremely slippery. Our vehicle (fully equipped with winter tyres and equipment) was unable to reach the property and we asked the hosts to help us carry the luggage with their SUV. They said that it’s not their obligation to assist us and we need to pay them to do so. They quoted a fee which we thought was unreasonable (given that its their responsibility to ensure safe access to their property) and we ended up carrying the luggage ourselves on foot for about 300m of slippery road.

As we reached the property, my girlfriend went inside the property to choose a room and leave the luggage and they entered into a room occupied by a host (c.50 year old male). We queried this beforehand and the hosts assured us that the property will be occupied only by us and the hosts live in “their private quarters”. This was obviously wrong as the male was living in a room in the same property which only has a sign on the door. The male started shouting abuse at her (e.g. can’t you read, leave this room immediately) and slammed the door in her face. The rest of us were outside as she ran out of the property so we asked the female host to call her partner outside so we can understand what happened. We explained politely that it is not appropriate to behave in this manner with a 23 year old girl who is also his guest and is paying for this stay. He started acting in an aggressive manner (his lip was trembling so we thought he was under influence) and started shouting that he has video recordings to prove that he hasn’t shouted at her. We asked him for the video recordings and he started repeating sarcastically that he is mentally ill and pushed us out of the property and locked the door. We recorded this last part on our phones.
