We stayed for one night. The girls welcomed us super friendly. 4 bed room and shared bath. Everything clean. Be sure it s no hotel but a comfortable place to stay. Dinner and breakfast have been amazing! Lot s of Georgian food so we reached or limit about this delicious food! Completely recommend for a stay. Good place to explore the area.

Nice and friendly family. Requires driving the narrow streets and cannot navigate with google maps. Rooms were basic and ok, a bit of smoke smell. Breakfast was great Dinner was nice but we didn't ask how much and it cost 50 lari per person which was the most expensive in all our trip and we felt we were overcharged even for Ushguli rates. Just ask before to make sure it suits you

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and they spoke Russian. The breakfasts were excellent, probably the best we'd had on our entire trip. The guesthouse has four rooms. The amenities are basic (shared bathroom and toilet), but that's normal for Ushguli. Everything was clean, the shower was hot, and we loved everything about it.

Very good location and services (tasty breakfast and a wonderful horse ride with Nora’s husband). The room is noisy (our living room is underneath the room) but very cheap and clean so go for it ✨🥰👍🏽

Excellent place, good hosts, delicious food. With snow you have to leave the car about 100m away. Perfect place to start routes. The rooms are clean, ba the European. I can only thank you for your treatment and hospitality

We were here for the Taxi service - 120 gel for a taxi to the glacier. Also used them for a taxi to Mestia for 180 gel (60 per person). Finally we had some great red wine pitcher. The view from the terrace is great.

Review is for the restaurant. We were waiting FOR EVER for Kchinkali and when they finally arrived they were mediocre. Staff a bit rude as well. View on the other hand - amazing. Good place to have a cold beer after the walk to the glacier.

I have stayed in Ushguli twice now. The first time, we got a ride from a guy in a lady Neva who crashed through waterfalls and the second time we hiked through the mountains. Great, historic towers set amongst the rivers and valleys. Hearty breakfast and great company, a welcome rest for tired feet.

A comfortable place, but not luxurious. A slightly aging staircase and a somewhat crepting common kitchen. It is worse for those who choose a room without a kitchen because there is definitely a small one. But I think that it is quite high standard for Mestie. For lonely excursions, ideal for families, you have to be inconvenient.

I had a very nice stay at this guesthouse. Tina was a very nice host and made sure that I had a pleasant stay in Mestia. She is caring and welcoming. The guesthouse is very cozy located just outside the town and have an exceptional view to surrounding mountains and Svan Towers. I recommend the homemade breakfast!

We stayed 2 times at Guesthouse Gio. Gio‘s aunt is super friendly, she even speaks quite good german! The house has a wonderful view, especially in the morning!! The only problem: if you get a room on the ground floor, you hear EVERYTHING from the guests upstairs...especially when they wake up earlier in the morning and pack their stuff for an hour :(

Vasha and his brother are nice people who helped us in every way they could. The guesthouse is beautiful and in a quiet corner of Mestia. There are a lot of windows, so we could admire the snow outside - but inside it was cosy and warm!

I stayed here for 2 nights while I was visiting Ushguli. Everything was great. The host lady and her daughter were very helpful and friendly. If I go Mestia again I will surely revisit this hotel. Highly recommend.

Very cozy guesthouse. Away from the center of Mestia on a quiet street, elevated above the city which offers a view from the terrace above. There is s small living area a washing machine and a shoe dryer which we found very useful. The guests are allowed to use the family's kitchen to prepare food or tea and coffee. The food at Old House Mestia Hotel & Restaurant was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic, especially the traditional Svan dishes. Everything tasted homemade and generously served. Located right beneath one of the towers high above the city, this place offers a stunning view. It can be a bit tricky to drive all the way up in winter, so it’s better to park a little further down and walk. However, the effort is well worth it. Sadly i wasnt able to book a room there, but as i already heard from others and after being there 2 times now to i have to say the food and the service are impeccable!! for sure best in town. what they do in that kitchen is incredible. also they make you feel as you were staying/eating at your grandma’s :) big love

Friendly and cheap place. Good for summer housing.

I stayed with Maria for a long time and am very happy with the comfort of the room. The heaters are working great so far (it's the end of December)! I'm warm and beautiful. The hosts are very nice and friendly. When I said I do yoga on the floor for two hours and need it to be really warm, they brought the most powerful heater and a rug.

Mziuri is the most lovely women, very kind, gave us traditional svaneti food and drink during our stay. The kitchen has a toaster oven and a one burner stove, which we were able to make work when we wanted to cook. Beds were comfy and warm and the dresser provided good storage for our ski gear.

Wonderful accomodation. We were going to stay there for a couple of days but ended up staying for a whole week because of the lovely place and its surroundings. Thanks a lot for making us have such a pleasant stay Mziuri. Hopefully we will come back again some day!!

The place has a very friendly and homey atmosphere, clean rooms and bathrooms, nice gazebo to sit outside and a spacious kitchen. Very nice couple running the place, no English but they have a son they call who translates for them. Works fine. Beautiful room with a small balcony (good for smokers ;). Also right next to the town center. Don't make the mistake of trying to drive your car (or in our case the campervan) up from the road, it's a very steap climb haha. Went to mestia for starting our 4 day hike to Ushguli. We booked ninos Ratianis for one night and was a really great experience. Nino and her coworkers are so kind, they really looked for us and that everything was good. The food is traditonial from svaneti region and is incredible, i really recommend to have Ninos Cake! I would come back for sure😁 Spanish guys

Good amenities. Light from the hallway shined in the room the whole night and there was someone taking a phone call in the hallway in the late evening which was very loud in the room. So lack earplugs and a sleeping mask and you are good to go. Sauna option was nice. Though we were not aware you book it privately and then the price is only for an hour.

We spent 8 nights here in July and had a wonderful relaxing stay at Nino's. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was enough hot water, and we had the benefit of being in a unit that had the comforts of home, including a washer, a heated towel bar ( to speed up drying on heavier clothes), a fridge and a couch/eating area. We tried both breakfast (USD $7.50) and dinner (USD$10)...

The host of the place was very welcoming and the room was above our expectations: clean, big, beautiful view and very well maintained. Nino gave us very good rate. We would not be able to find a better deal for a such beautiful room!

That is probably a best hotel at the heart of Svaneti - Mestia. We found a luxury 2-rooms apartment and incredible service with highly professional team. The warm family service and boutique apartments, with incredible local authentic cousin. Absolutely highly recommended!

Valodia Guest House is an amazing place for the best views, very nice owners and all services they offer to you to make nice tours. The give you also wonderful breakfast and are always available to help you. The place is very close to the center so you can have everything at the same time. Even if you are just chilling in their garden you enjoy so impressive views. I really recommend it!!!

I have stayed here first time in 2019 and since then I come every year I can. You can meet locals who are great hosts, hospitable, willing to help you with everything. I can proudly call this family my friends and I feel like a part of family too. If you want authentic svan experience, come here. Highest Guest House in Mestia. The best view is over the entire Mestia. Authentic and real Georgian. If you want to feel the hospitality of Georgian and mountain people, I definitely recommend it. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. recommend it 100%

This was absolutly amazing accommodation with very friendly and kind hosts. The guest house is located on a hill side not faraway from the center of Mestia, but far enough to be a very quite place and as mentioned in previous comments - with breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. For extra 20 GEL you can request a breakfast, which I can really recommend because the breakfast was very rich...

It was a pleasure to stay at this guest house. The owner and his family were the kindest and most honest Georgians we have met during our whole stay in Svaneti. They are very hospitable and welcoming. They have the best homemade wine we tried here and they have to most amazing dog that stays in their yard. You can recognize how kind these people are just by seeing how their animals behave around people...

Location was in the middle of Mestia, easy access to everything. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom was modern but smelled a bit musty but nothing terrible. Would stay again if coming to Mestia.

A good three-star hotel on the outskirts, importantly, a 5-minute walk from the center. Excellent views from the window—we stayed in a corner room with a window and balcony—with views of both the towers and the glaciers. Excellent ventilation without opening the front door. Hospitable hosts. A very hearty breakfast.

I didn't see any basic service staff after checking in, and I didn't see anyone when I checked out. The location is okay, there is a small courtyard, the room is not particularly large, and the facilities can only be said to be average. It's average, but the view from the window is good.

Overall it's good, the location is near the town center, if you drive by yourself, you can just park somewhere nearby where you don't block other people. The only problem is that there is no air conditioning or fan, so it's hard to sleep at night.

We had a wonderful stay! Travelled as a couple. The hosts were very accommodating and the room was super comfortable. They have a lovely living room where you can watch TV and Netflix and you can bring own drinks and store them in a big fridge. The hosts also offer breakfast and dinner and can help you with trips and transportation.
