Hotel Araki SOLOLAKI in Tbilisi

I booked two rooms here for my family and I. Overall we had a very poor experience with the service and poor standards of hospitality that we cancelled our last night and move to another place. Firstly, the middle aged man at the reception with glasses was very rude, refused to help my father & aunt (65+ years old senior citizen) with their bags down the stairs and refused to store our bags when we were returning to the same hotel 2 days later (note- the hotel had ample space). Secondly one of the ladies at the breakfast was extremely rude when we asked her for Turkish coffee and made faces & under hand comments multiple times (this stuff did not go unnoticed by me or my aunt). Thirdly the rooms had ants in the bathroom and room which was unpleasant and towels plus tea/coffee were not replaced post house keeping.
I will still call out the one and only good staff member, Luka who was very helpful and he’s the only reason I’m not giving the hotel a 1 star. The location is also candidly good and close to major spots
Overall, after travelling to over 40 countries this was one of the worst staff that I’ve come across - we were really disappointed and I would not recommend or return to this place again. Hotel staff should be trained to actually be hospitable and helpful to their guests.
