The hotel is conveniently located to downtown and bus lines. There were a few small things wrong that the hotel tried to correct like room being too hot, water leaking from sink, no towels. It’s a lovely, historic property. Staff work very hard, it is clean and easy walking distance to Old Tbilisi and many tour pick up points. Unfortunately, I had an emergency situation with my pregnancy and could not travel. I was disappointed that the the hotel did not respond to a request for a partial refund - even saying no would have been better than no response at all. Good location, but not really "boutique". As this is a four star house: Rooms are rather small with insufficient space to open a suitcase properly or store clothes. Shower are in the bathroom, which is always an inconvenience as the while bath is obviously wet afterwards for a while. WLAN was mediocre at best and the breakfast buffet not worth mentioning.

The hotel is located in a renovated old mansion. The room on the top floor has a glass ceiling, so you can stargaze. I'm not sure how it will be in the summer sun, though. The receptionist is a pleasant person. The room is simple, no frills – perfectly fine for a transit stay.
