4 star hotels in Karlsruhe

Recently stayed here and could not fault anything about our stay. The staff were so helpful and polite. The food is excellent and well priced. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Would recommend staying here

If the price is in your range, don't look too far. Hotel is great, staff are polite and helpful. Location is great! Transport is 2 min from the hotel. Clean, nice and quiet. Would deffinitely revisit.

The Novotel Hotel in Karlsruhe is very centrally located. The Christmas market was only a 10-minute walk away. Our Executive Double Room was very spacious, clean, and quiet, with a super comfortable queen-size bed. The hotel is newly renovated and quite large, yet you didn't really notice the many guests, so you didn't feel disturbed. On Sundays and public holidays, breakfast is served until 11:00...

I travel to Karlsruhe two or three times a year for work, and this hotel has been my home away from home for the past five years. The service is consistently excellent — from the friendly cleaning crew to the attentive hotel manager. The staff always make me feel welcome, and their professionalism and warmth are truly exceptional.

A good hotel, a solid 4. Clean rooms, large windows, and lots of light. The price/quality ratio is a bit high. But overall, no complaints.

great hotel and service , clean, quite

Even Rio is old hotel, but the staff service is very nice. I'm satisfied that stay here .

This was my second stay at the Hotel Rio, which I found just as comfortable welcoming as on my last visit. I would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel is located nicely in central Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast option is up to the standard. There is, however, no AC working. "It is not hot enough". There was 26 degrees celsius in the night in my room and no AC. Opening windows is also not an option as downstairs there are people smoking, so you either choose to be smoked...

Relaxing A very comfortable overnight stay with secure underground parking and good restaurant. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless .

I stayed there with 5 collegues for an exbhition and we were all very pleased with our stay. The hotel is only a few minutes from the tram station that took us directly to the Exhibition Centre within 15 minutes-ish. It's also within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, beer gardens, grocery stores, etc. The breakfast had a lot of fresh and delicious options for a very good price at 9 euros...

I was looking for a hotel close to the train station for a short weekend to rest and get to know a new place. It is just like 200 m from the station, just a short walk easy to do with the bit of luggage, so that objective was fulfilled. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, and the place itself has the charm of a historic hotel, I especially enjoyed walking down the staircase....

3 star at best. Rooms are really dated. Bed was good, pillows terrible. Staff were friendly, location, right next to train station, so 15/20 mins walk to centre, bur ideal to move on your next leg of a trip. The lift is the best part of the hotel, built1928 - a national treasure, supposedly.

Good location near the station. Loved that our room overlooked the zoo and we could see the animals. Our own animal was well treated, good room, comfy bed, breakfast pretty good and welcoming staff on arrival. Thank you!

We payed far over 500 euros, and sadly did not get what you would expect for this price. Our room was outdated and the bathroom had some molt. The walls were not white anymore. The location is great, but it is time for some investment and modernization. We did not understand why the bar/cafe had no personal. The breakfast is absolutely not bad, but even that could have some extra attention.

Extremely convenient location when arriving by train. Very helpful staff. Loved the old world atmosphere and especially the 1914 lift! Room large and spacious. No tea or coffee but we never use those anyway.

All good. Location, clean. The bed could be bigger.

Great place, great rooms, great bed and great breakfast

Spacious and clean rooms in a pleasant location. Be sure to book breakfast in advance, otherwise the prices are exorbitant. I accidentally spilled my whisky (4 cl) at the bar, and the bartender just did a cleanup. I would have expected a small gesture from the bartender and have at least half of the glass refilled (2 cl). That just did not happen. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel, this is...

Would stay here again given the chance. Clean, comfortable rooms and bed, modern look to hotel, Great service, and the most amazing all you can eat breakfast

nice place, well set up, and free extras Located in the old town of Durlach, we had free parking on the street every night, right near the hotel. I've never been in a hotel where everything in the mini bar is complimentary ! Beer, water, soda, coffee, was free of charge, Prima! if you choose to decline housekeeping, they give you a 5 Euro gift card each day to spend at the bar. Nice touch. I did have...

Close to family. Also conveniently located, near tram station, restaurants, shopping - all within walking distance.

It was a great place to stay, close to family. Also close to tram stations, good restaurants, shopping. Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was wonderful!

Update: adding a review of the hotel room where I stayed 4 nights Hotel room: spacious, has a safe, A/C and refrigerator and daily bottled water.. liked the lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. Spacious bathroom: with no bathtub. Professional front desk. Restaurant staff were great. Substantial breakfast buffet. Cons: bed sags a bit and wasn’t very comfortable, blackout curtain not...

Stayed here after a trip at another hotel with no air con. The ac was great and the room comfortable. It was also a nice walk from the train station on a tree covered street. Check in was easy and WiFi was strong and I could use it for work. The staff there was excellent and helpful as I arranged travel to the office I was visiting. Walking distance to the city center. Rooms were nice enough...

The hotel is really nice, clean and has a very good location - the nearby streets have beautiful architecture and it was a good starting point for our personal walk tour through sights of Karlsruhe. The bathroom was exceptionally nice. And also breakfast was very nicely managed - with a really broad range of options. The receptionists were very professional, kind and helpful. They explained the...

We were a group of four people at the hotel for a week, working at a venue close by. We did not feel totally welcomed by the bar staff. This is a lovely hotel, but we felt like outsiders, almost as if our euros were not as important as guests that were not staying at the hotel. Reception staff were lovely, rooms great, there was just a feeling of not being welcomed, in the bar area, we were well behaved...

Very good hotel, extremely good value. A 10 min walk from the train station and and a 5 min walk into town centre. Breakfast was plentiful and very good choice. The cocktail bar gave it a good ambiance at night. Rooms were good and clean. Free coffee in reception area was a good touch.

Very nice buffet breakfast, free parking on the roof, clean room

The hotel has a comfortable overall environment.

The rooms were clean but a bit dated. Front desk service and breakfast service were great. Breakfast was great. Location was super. We took tram #2 from the Hbf direct to the hotel at Marktplatz. In the morning, we walked to the Hbf no problem. The fitness room was sub standard; the cardio equipment was flimsy but we persevered and got our workout done. The sauna and steam were excellent. We used the...

Very nice location, and very silent.

We stayed for 2 weeks, the rooms are nice and big but abit dated. House keeping never filled up our shampoo or soap but we could have asked but just kept forgetting. The breakfast staff are so lovely and produce a varied buffet. Excellent locations super handy to everything. The reception staff were mostly friendly but there was one member who dressed in a suit and wasn’t overly friendly and I...

Very good location, right next to the market square. All facilities are complete. There is a hotel parking lot and a place to charge electric cars. The parking fee when I went was 15 euros per night. The minibar in the room is free.

Excellent location, convenient transportation, clean room, rich breakfast

Very nice and comfortable room, clean, attention to detail. Kind and welcoming staff.

Excellent hotel, close to A8 Autobahn.

This is a truly superb hotel. Built in 2020, everything is obviously like new. Very tastefully designed, using expensive fittings. Without doubt it is owned by people who have tremendous pride in their hotel.. Super staff.. Very friendly and helpful. The bar and lounge area is so comfortable and relaxing. The room we were in is faultless and good value. A genuinely great place to stay. We stayed...

Best hotel stay in Karlsruhe! Nice hotel, nice environment, very clean room, friendly staff!

I have travelled many countries in the world, like gulf and asian coutries and stayed there in different hotels. But my experience of staying in Hotel Winterrot was unforgettable, very peaceful, specially the warm welcoming at reception as well as all of the staff members whether in reception or at Bar and Restaurent made me really feel so special and respectful. Room was big enough, with very comfortable...

Great hotel and Restaurant but Service was too slow. 45 min for a cocktail.
