Recently stayed here and could not fault anything about our stay. The staff were so helpful and polite. The food is excellent and well priced. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Would recommend staying here

I travel to Karlsruhe two or three times a year for work, and this hotel has been my home away from home for the past five years. The service is consistently excellent — from the friendly cleaning crew to the attentive hotel manager. The staff always make me feel welcome, and their professionalism and warmth are truly exceptional.

A good hotel, a solid 4. Clean rooms, large windows, and lots of light. The price/quality ratio is a bit high. But overall, no complaints.

The Hotel is located nicely in central Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast option is up to the standard. There is, however, no AC working. "It is not hot enough". There was 26 degrees celsius in the night in my room and no AC. Opening windows is also not an option as downstairs there are people smoking, so you either choose to be smoked...

Relaxing A very comfortable overnight stay with secure underground parking and good restaurant. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless .

I stayed there with 5 collegues for an exbhition and we were all very pleased with our stay. The hotel is only a few minutes from the tram station that took us directly to the Exhibition Centre within 15 minutes-ish. It's also within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, beer gardens, grocery stores, etc. The breakfast had a lot of fresh and delicious options for a very good price at 9 euros...

It was a very nice stay. Close to the palace and hbf. The room was clean and well kept.

The hotel is located a 2-minute walk from Karlsruhe Station, so even though I arrived late, I was able to walk to the hotel with peace of mind. The bathroom hygiene was a bit lacking, but it is the best value hotel. There is also a tram stop in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around.

It's right next to the station, so getting around is very convenient.

Loved the Pool and daily activities. Has a resort feel to it. The breakfast buffet is 2nd to none! Only issue is the response times from the front desk. This way be a high season problem however, seeing how we traveled in early Aug.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel PLAZA Premium Karlsruhe and I must say, it was a very good experience. The hotel itself is very good, providing all the amenities and comforts one could ask for. What truly set this hotel apart for me was the staff. The personnel here are super professional, attending to every need with efficiency and a smile.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to everything I needed.

I was looking for a hotel close to the train station for a short weekend to rest and get to know a new place. It is just like 200 m from the station, just a short walk easy to do with the bit of luggage, so that objective was fulfilled. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, and the place itself has the charm of a historic hotel, I especially enjoyed walking down the staircase....

3 star at best. Rooms are really dated. Bed was good, pillows terrible. Staff were friendly, location, right next to train station, so 15/20 mins walk to centre, bur ideal to move on your next leg of a trip. The lift is the best part of the hotel, built1928 - a national treasure, supposedly.

We payed far over 500 euros, and sadly did not get what you would expect for this price. Our room was outdated and the bathroom had some molt. The walls were not white anymore. The location is great, but it is time for some investment and modernization. We did not understand why the bar/cafe had no personal. The breakfast is absolutely not bad, but even that could have some extra attention.

I spent a week here on business. The room was great for a business trip, the staff super friendly and helpful. Public transport downtown is good to grab something to eat.. I enjoyed it. And the seminar room well equipped and luckily had a fully functional AC.

We were a group of four people at the hotel for a week, working at a venue close by. We did not feel totally welcomed by the bar staff. Very good location, right next to the market square. All facilities are complete. There is a hotel parking lot and a place to charge electric cars. The parking fee when I went was 15 euros per night. The minibar in the room is free.

The Leonardo Hotel in Karlsruhe offers good value for the price. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival to find that despite booking a double bed, we were given two single beds instead. We were told by staff that a double bed was only a "wish" and not a guarantee. We couldn't easily push the beds together because of the fixed console in the middle. Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. The hotel was fine, the ambience can be better! I was staying there during a hotel renovation I assume! The hotel is very helpful at times of necessities. Rooms are quite disappointing. First one I was given smelled like sewage clearly some bad job with the canalization. I changed rooms , smell was better but no blackout curtains, if you can’t sleep with sun or light good luck. The hotel itself is adequate for a one night stop off, room was clean. The main downside of our stay was the male receptionist, we were a party of 5 motorbikers that had ridden in torrential rain and thunderstorms, when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was rude to say the least, almost hostile! He would definitely benefit from a customer relations corse!

This is a solid place for an overnight stop, as long as you know what you're getting. Rooms are small, sink next to the bed, as is the shower box, and the small room with the toilet near the door. I always liked staying here. This is most likely my last time staying here since I will be retiring soon. The only thing I must advise is if you are here on buisness and must check out early, you will be charged for the days you paid for. This happened to me last week.. Claimed nothing could be done. No credit or refund. Not pleased to say the least. Be careful.

No issue with this hotel of great value. Staff is nice, bedrooms are comfy and well equiped, cleaned every day. Breakfast is also OK. Parking is easy and free next to the hotel or 9€/night if you take the hotel's one. No noise trouble is was peaceful. I enjoyed the stay.

Great place. It has a nice vibe. The food is good. The beer is typical German beer and very good. I speak german well enough, but, if you are a tourist and don’t speak German, you could have a hard time ordering, as they had one English speaker when I was there and she was quite busy.

Delicious food and beer. It was strikingly quiet on a Saturday night, but no matter. I had the maultaschen, which is like a meat-filled calzone but wrapped in pasta instead of bread and covered in gravy instead of tomato sauce. Highly recommended.

Stayed one night, bed was clean but this hotel is in need of a technical person who can fix the loose toilet seat and broken light switches and all other small things that feel end of life. Also no breakfast available and no receptiondesk in the mornings. It's more like a 40 euro do it yourself kind of hotel but they charged more than triple that amount. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were completely satisfied. If we are in Karlsruhe again we will stay there. As the hotel is very central, most of the city can be reached on foot.
