Worst service: No conference room offered Stayed with family for a night. Suddenly need to join the client meeting on the early morning. Requested for a conference room for short duration. They politely refused and joined the client from their lobby.

The Leonardo Hotel in Karlsruhe offers good value for the price. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival to find that despite booking a double bed, we were given two single beds instead. We were told by staff that a double bed was only a "wish" and not a guarantee. We couldn't easily push the beds together because of the fixed console in the middle. On the bright side, the location is quite convenient...

Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. This was the most affordable night of my trip (I didn't book breakfast; if I had, it would probably be the second most affordable). Everything met my expectations, and the transportation was convenient.

It’s a nice place, very calm & nice location, has a wooden staircase to go up the loft for the beds, can be tricky for elderly, however very warm & cozy. The manager was weird & wanted to chase me out a hour earlier even though I had paid for a late check out, she was sending people to knock on my door & calling to vacate, when I clearly had 1 more hour to go, very weird lady.

It had everything one could need. A Rewe supermarket was conveniently located nearby, and there were even cooking facilities available at the hotel. Absolutely full marks!

I think it is important to remember what you are buying here. It is listed as a 2 star hotel. - The ac mostly worked on the first floor, though it was not too hot - the shower had warm water - this is really really close to the tracks, and those on the first floor can not safely open their windows as there is a concrete walkway outside the rooms - the beds were not that comfortable, but not horrible...

At first it was quite confusing to find the hotel since there was no name board outside. So we just followed Google Maps and went inside. The room itself looked nice, but the service was not the best. The air conditioning and refrigerator seemed very old, and the bathtub had dirt that looked like it had been there for a long time. Better than expected. For such a small price I had a very nice room which was quite spacious for me alone. I loved that the floor was covered with a carpet and everything was very clean. The personal was helpful and polite, except for one reception lady who started audaciously speaking Russian to me without asking if I wanted it and if I actually spoke this language. The hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and had comfortable bedding. The location was also great. Just 3 stops away from the main train station. The bus stop and tram stop is just in front of the hotel connecting to the complete city. Loved the place and would stay at the same hotel when visiting Karlsuhe. A good modern hotel in the middle of Karlsruhe. Bicyclists are able to lock their bikes in the underground parking lot. Mini bar/fridge in the room. The staff gave some recommendations for good nearby restaurants where to eat dinner.

I was looking for a hotel close to the train station for a short weekend to rest and get to know a new place. It is just like 200 m from the station, just a short walk easy to do with the bit of luggage, so that objective was fulfilled. 3 star at best. Rooms are really dated. Bed was good, pillows terrible. Staff were friendly, location, right next to train station, so 15/20 mins walk to centre, bur ideal to move on your next leg of a trip. The lift is the best part of the hotel, built1928 - a national treasure, supposedly.

We payed far over 500 euros, and sadly did not get what you would expect for this price. Our room was outdated and the bathroom had some molt. The walls were not white anymore. The location is great, but it is time for some investment and modernization. We did not understand why the bar/cafe had no personal. Very good location, right next to the market square. All facilities are complete. There is a hotel parking lot and a place to charge electric cars. The parking fee when I went was 15 euros per night. The minibar in the room is free.

Very old hotel, everything a bit broken and thrown together. The entrance looks like something straight out of a horror movie. We had a theme room "mountain hut" and it was actually a great idea, but you could freshen everything up again, many broken spots in the room. But the breakfast was great and the beer was delicious!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel PLAZA Premium Karlsruhe and I must say, it was a very good experience. Passing trough Germany we stayed for 2 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space in the room. Room is basic, but clean. Breakfast was included in the price and extensive. You can reach the city center within 10 minutes by car. McDonalds, Aldi Sud & DM around the corner. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay. Especially considering the price.

Rooms are quite disappointing. First one I was given smelled like sewage clearly some bad job with the canalization. I changed rooms , smell was better but no blackout curtains, if you can’t sleep with sun or light good luck. It's a little far from the station. There was a table next to the bed so it was easy to put your luggage. I didn't use it, but there was a clothes warmer. The floor was wobbly and dented, so I'm worried about safety in the future.

Stairs squeak. At night I couldn't move quietly in bed because the bed squeak was so terrible and unbearably loud. Speaking of the bed; I had paid extra for a big bed and I got a small bed. The hotel itself is adequate for a one night stop off, room was clean. The main downside of our stay was the male receptionist, we were a party of 5 motorbikers that had ridden in torrential rain and thunderstorms, when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was rude to say the least, almost hostile!
