Check in and check out was very disorganized and had very long waits. They were understaffed both times. The shower sprayed all over the ground in the bathroom because the glass median of the shower didn't come out far enough.

The hotel is quite old, so the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it's not bad, except that on the first day, the staff took the mini-fridge, saying it was under repair, and never brought it back.

It was easy access and easy to find the parking space.The room was clean and good enough for 3 of us.Though the 3rd bed could have been better.Walkable distance from all the areas.Would def stay here agai. If i visit Karlsruhe.

The room was very clean, but the bed was small. The front desk couldn't understand English, so communication was a bit difficult.

Short stay Good reasonably central location for Karlsruhe. Convenient underground parking. Trams run directly past hotel entrance and can be a bit noisy at night/ early morning as they pass, but this is to be expected in the location. Rooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable.

We were a group of four people at the hotel for a week, working at a venue close by. We did not feel totally welcomed by the bar staff. This is a lovely hotel, but we felt like outsiders, almost as if our euros were not as important as guests that were not staying at the hotel. Great place. It has a nice vibe. The food is good. The beer is typical German beer and very good. I speak german well enough, but, if you are a tourist and don’t speak German, you could have a hard time ordering, as they had one English speaker when I was there and she was quite busy.

Delicious food and beer. It was strikingly quiet on a Saturday night, but no matter. I had the maultaschen, which is like a meat-filled calzone but wrapped in pasta instead of bread and covered in gravy instead of tomato sauce. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at the Hotel PLAZA INN Karlsruhe Nord! From the moment I checked in until checkout, everything was smooth and efficient. This hotel is the BEST! I chose this location primarily for one reason: How wheelchair accessible it is. I was not disappointed! Proper hotel for a short trip away from home. Although the location isn’t very convenient when you need to get around Karlsruhe, the personnel is more than happy to help you get a taxi. Rooms are very spacious clean and setup with the right amenities. In the morning their breakfast is from 6 AM to 10 AM which allows you to sleep in if needed. Can recommend!

The Leonardo Hotel in Karlsruhe offers good value for the price. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival to find that despite booking a double bed, we were given two single beds instead. We were told by staff that a double bed was only a "wish" and not a guarantee. We couldn't easily push the beds together because of the fixed console in the middle. Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. This was the most affordable night of my trip (I didn't book breakfast; if I had, it would probably be the second most affordable). The hotel is a 14-minute walk from Karlsruhe Station. There was no staff at check-in, so I had a bit of trouble getting my room key. However, the hotel is located in a residential area, so it's quiet, and the breakfast is decent.

The hotel itself is adequate for a one night stop off, room was clean. The main downside of our stay was the male receptionist, we were a party of 5 motorbikers that had ridden in torrential rain and thunderstorms, when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was rude to say the least, almost hostile! He would definitely benefit from a customer relations corse!

Very old hotel, everything a bit broken and thrown together. The entrance looks like something straight out of a horror movie. We had a theme room "mountain hut" and it was actually a great idea, but you could freshen everything up again, many broken spots in the room. But the breakfast was great and the beer was delicious!

As central in Karlsruhe as it gets. Right by the Schloss and pyramid. There is karstad nearby with plenty of bars, bakeries, and restaurants. The rooms are hot in summer with noisy air-conditioning systems. Opening the windows can be annoying as you will get all the noise from the CBD!

It's a little far from the station. There was a table next to the bed so it was easy to put your luggage. I didn't use it, but there was a clothes warmer. The floor was wobbly and dented, so I'm worried about safety in the future.

Stairs squeak. At night I couldn't move quietly in bed because the bed squeak was so terrible and unbearably loud. Speaking of the bed; I had paid extra for a big bed and I got a small bed. We booked two rooms at B&B Hotels Karlsruhe (145EUR in total), one with a parking space in the underground parking to charge our vehicle (+10EUR for parking). At 69c/kWh, the energy costs were on the high end for a slow AC charger, but this could be expected. I use B&B hotel especially because they are generaly very good for wheelchair users. This hotel in Karlsruhe was very good fir me and my needs as a wheelchair user. The room and bathroom are very spacious, with grabrails in bathroom and easy access to toilet with both side. Breakfast was very goid with goid choice of dufferent foods. Meh Seems to be a “long term” stay place. The shared bathroom, shower, and kitchen was a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. Clean enough, but you’re really getting what you pay for here.

Good accomodation in the centre of Karlsruhe

You get what you pay for. Very stylish design, very clean, and very centrally located for a good price. On the downside, there is very little space (even with two carry-on suitcases it gets difficult) and the furnishings are quite basic: no trash bin, no shelves in the shower or bathroom, and no proper heating (only hot air via the air conditioning).

Very easy to check-in out of the reception hours. Everything was very clean. The bed was really comfortable. I recommend!
