We stayed as a couple for 4 nights with half board at Haus Alpensonne. We would have preferred to stay in the main building, as rooms were available, but you wanted an extra €80 for it. The beds were far too soft and worn out; a mattress change was definitely in order. Unfortunately, neither Sky nor DAZN were available in the bar, which was a shame, especially during the peak of the football season...

A cozy, comfortable hotel in a quiet location in Tiefenbach, 4 kilometres from Oberstdorf. Everything was perfect: the suite with a big balcony, fantastic breakfast and dinner, peaceful spa area, and above all the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and relaxation.

The location is unbeatable. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed Obertsdorf and surroundings very much.

One caveat: The wellness pool is, and always has been, disfunctionally cold, in winter at least. Even if you go in, you'll have to leave a few minuntes in because you just don't adapt. It really feels like a cold sauna plunge tub, which I use it for. There is a small hot tub, which is almost guaranteed to always be fully occupied during the evening. Saunas are good tho.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Oberstdorf. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that create a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The food was really good! The buffet offers soooo many delicious things, wow! The spa area consists of 4 saunas, but unfortunately only one is really hot. Further, they only do two events per day (at least in the hottest sauna) but they literally just came in, threw the ice in the oven and left without any comments...

Second time here. I love this resort. It’s truly in a beautiful location and has an incredible spa. Dining is a bit expensive but worth it. Take time to hike around the region. Live music in the evenings is a bonus!

Sport hotel with class! A great hotel, a bit outside of Oberstdorf. But there is a bus right outside the hotel. It takes only a couple of minutes - and you get a card from the hotel - so no charge. Huge breakfast buffet, lovely staff and a really nice spa area. The hotel bar was also great. The only minus was that my room was in a corner and the amazing view from the balcony was a bit blocked.

Well, this is another excellent Best Western +. Service is as expected in Deutschland, efficient, friendly and professional. The hotel and the room very good, service was good but they did struggle with English and us with our very limited German but we did manage! The food we had was bland but that is the only thing to have a slight grumble about. All in All a very good hotel and was a pleasure to stay there

Overall great experience for a fair price. The food in the evening and especially for breakfast was delicious. The rooms could be better and the pool are is a bit older.

Lovely stay in Oberstdorf Lovely hotel! I had a very spacious superior single room with balcony, with an amazing view! Great breakfast, great spa area. I enjoyed a lot the pool, water temperature was perfect and the size was enough for a relaxed swim.

Amazing Stay.. They were so accommodating when we arrived as we had a ski lesson booked. Got a room ready as soon as they could so we could check in before the lesson. We were here for a week and we loved it, the people who work here are real people very friendly and not fake friendly, the food is excellent, the rooms are very clean, it's a shame it was only one week.

Absolutely loved it. The staff was so great and the location is just beautiful. With the Oberstdorf allgäu card parking in town or taking the bus is free. It's a great spot to start taking a hike or a bike ride. It has all amenities needed included a wellness area.
