The rooms were perfect and cozy. The scenery was AMAZING. My room was 51 and it overlooked the infinity pool, gardens and mountains with the gondola. I felt like it was a fairytale. The service was outstanding and everyone called you by name! The spas were modern and spacious with loads of relaxation rooms. Fresh air and amazing hiking trails. The owners were always available and welcoming. A must for anyone that wants to be with nature

Franks in a new design - very well done. Food and Service is excellent, also the choices of wine - very good. Prices are decent. Gluten free „Semmel“, which was excellence, was a highlight besides all the excellent food. After all I question why the family member Mrs Frank needs to act as a seater instead of greeting guests once seated - that way, she circumvents being asked to bring some water - since this seems to be not her destiny. All in all 4, instead if 5 stars, because of Mrs Frank. Will visit again however.

Magical holiday! Great location, outstanding service, extraordinary restaurant/food and beverage, amazing spa, the utmost attention to every detail throughout the stay. The staff is extremely professional, always kind and efficient at the front desk. The restaurant is exceptional, delicious gourmet food, beautiful presentation and the best service, always going above and beyond expectations. The wine list is fabulous with an especially great representation of fantastic local wines. The possibility of enjoying nature and tranquility in the spectacular location is limitless while trekking, biking, running or relaxing poolside. The spa facilities are impeccable and the services excellent. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I thought that the team & the quality of the food at Franks was excellent. Also the accommodation was very good & the location in Oberstdorf was perfect. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay again.

Service is excellent as well as the food. All though the internet is a little dodgy in some of the rooms.

Overall good hotel. Balancing between 4 and 5 stars I finally grant it with 5 stars. SPA and a huge 30 degrees swimming pool I liked most. Very nicely decorated. Breakfast is good as well, with friendly service and outside seating tables. Parking is free and in the easy maneuverable garage.Wi-Fi is free however with password and speed of 21 Mbit/s. Rooms are generally good but a bit outdated and those with mountain view are somewhat overpriced. Still 5 stars.
