The rooms were perfect and cozy. My room was 51 and it overlooked the infinity pool, gardens and mountains with the gondola. I felt like it was a fairytale

Further, they only do two events per day (at least in the hottest sauna) but they literally just came in, threw the ice in the oven and left without any comments

The food was really good! The buffet offers soooo many delicious things, wow! The spa area consists of 4 saunas, but unfortunately only one is really hot

Rooms were clean, and have a good view. The bathroom shower head was a little bit worn out, but that was the only negative thing about the hotel. The restaurant was great! Big buffet with a lot of things to choose from

Second time here. I love this resort. It’s truly in a beautiful location and has an incredible spa. Dining is a bit expensive but worth it. Take time to hike around the region. Live music in the evenings is a bonus!

Good thing, you are allowed to take cheese or sweets from the dinner place to the bar at 21:00. Every day there are different activities, most for free like Marshmello or Sausage BBQ at the fire bowl

The staff was very friendly and the food was really tasty. The bar had a big seating area with lots of really comfy chairs, and on Saturday’s and Sunday’s there is live music at the bar

Room was incredible, service fantastic and friendly. Was lucky to get on of the three best rooms in the whole place. Slight warning to those less mobile, there are a few unavoidable flights of stairs.

The location is unbeatable. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed Obertsdorf and surroundings very much.

Restaurant: The restaurant also lacked AC, the difference is that you could quickly cool your room, which was not possible in the restaurant, so it was hot in the restaurant all the time

The hotel website does not clearly indicate that the hotel consists of several buildings, so at first we could not easily find our building without the help of someone from the staff

We were on holiday during a quite warm period, so the lack of AC turned the rooms into a sauna when you didn't open the windows

There were many cats walking around the hotel grounds and they were all friendly which made me enjoy my stay even more. There were often many free spaces in the parking lots

Best place and staff ever , especially Doris Widera She is the best person I met in 2025 as she was helpful all the time + she help us in our train trip and in all needs during my stay at the hotel

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in a terraced studio at an annex building 2 minutes from the main one. The room was spacious and had a walk-in closet which was extremely handy at the time

The only two things that I missed were a harder (or just newer) mattress and a kettle — the coffee machine came with water boiling functionality but it wasn't that good :) It would be nice to stay in Best Western Plus Hotel Alpenhof once again

Very clean great service. Only drawback is no air conditioning. (US travelers might be shocked by that) Vonya, was exceptional in dining portion. Breakfast was included and really good.

Comfortable bedding/ daily housekeeping first class and good underground parking ( chargeable ) is a bonus. Well organised, well run family hotel with different options for dining area

Waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and we ordered some dinner and desert, which were both soooo good (you have to tey the creamy pumpkin soup with venison!)

Very typical algauer hotel placed in the earth of oberstdorf, twins bed room are nice and big but single bed room are quite small

The hotel has its own sauna, welness, swimming pool and the lake nearby is just outside the hotel. Even the breakfast and dinner is included 🙌 definitely recommending this place if you want comfort and some rest

Hello, We are very pleased with this hotel. It is in a very idyllic location on Christlessee, near Oberstdorf. Every evening there was a 4-course menu. For the main course you can choose between fish, meat and vegetarian

Wonderful sauna and wellness area with illuminated pool. The view from the large windows of the sauna on the alpine panorama in the moonlight gives you goosebumps, despite the 90 degrees!!

Winter sports Excellent location for both cross country & downhill skiiing. Amazing views. Good size pool and excellent sauna. Also, easy walk to town centre shops cafes & restaurants

Very good hotel, exceptionally nice staff, with an excellent restaurant. We visit Oberstdorf almost every year because of the international skating competition. I think this was our best price/value hotel so far

It is also close to the ice rink on foot. The breakfast is plentiful and meets all needs. The restaurant is excellent, even for dinner. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is extremely polite

I loved the pool and the two saunas. I loved the cleanliness and decor of my room. The front desk staff was really helpful in directing me towards activities I would enjoy as well.

Since we traveled with a dog we asked whether we could take the dog to the dinner. They explained this was not possible in the normal dining room. But they prepared a very nice table in the bar

I felt very anxious and scared. This hotel definitely needs to state on their website that their location changes during the winter. My actual accommodation was at Nature Hotel Walde sruhe, located in the mountains

This time we stayed in the neighboring building (Landhaus Viktoria). It was wheelchair-accessible there, too. Large room with a loggia, a great view of the Oberstdorf mountains. We didn't use the small kitchen

We spent two weeks skiing at Landhaus Viktoria in February. The room was modernly furnished with a view of the mountains and a private terrace. The staff was super friendly and accommodated all our requests

We were and still are very impressed with Landhaus Viktoria, which is only a two-minute drive from Oberstdorf. Even though it doesn't affect us, it's a huge plus that the hotel is completely wheelchair accessible

The bus station isn't too far away, it is slightly hilly though, but it was a nice stroll to start the day with. It was quite cold outside so we spent more time inside than we did outside

Best place to stay in Oberstdorf and nearest to the Skiving mountains. We went in off season and hence we could enjoy the place without much crowd and mostly family people with kids

The swimming pool was peaceful, especially late at night. My personal favourite was their small sports room that had a foosball table and table tennis

This hotel is walkbale from the roller coaster 🎢 ride and a ropeway uphill where you can go either by doing trekking

The sauna and infrared sauna are great. The pool was a bit too chilly for our taste

We spent Christmas first in the Alpchalet and then a week directly in the hotel. The hotel itself is in a very quiet location towards Loretto Kapellen. Everything is level, which was very convenient for me with my walker

The Alpchalet in the hotel garden also has its own parking space (but there are plenty of parking spaces available, including an underground garage). The bathroom could use a walk-in shower, and the toilet is very low

The breakfast is delicious, and you have everything you need. After a long hike, the small, cozy wellness area is a treat. The rooms are furnished with loving details, and everything is clean and tidy

Our bathroom had towels and other staff that you will probably need like soap, shower gel etc. We had breakfast included in our booking every morning. It was more as a buffet, but was very delicios
