Hotels in Oberstdorf

One caveat: The wellness pool is, and always has been, disfunctionally cold, in winter at least. Even if you go in, you'll have to leave a few minuntes in because you just don't adapt. It really feels like a cold sauna plunge tub, which I use it for. There is a small hot tub, which is almost guaranteed to always be fully occupied during the evening. Saunas are good tho.

The food was really good! The buffet offers soooo many delicious things, wow! The spa area consists of 4 saunas, but unfortunately only one is really hot. Further, they only do two events per day (at least in the hottest sauna) but they literally just came in, threw the ice in the oven and left without any comments...

Second time here. I love this resort. It’s truly in a beautiful location and has an incredible spa. Dining is a bit expensive but worth it. Take time to hike around the region. Live music in the evenings is a bonus!

Sport hotel with class! A great hotel, a bit outside of Oberstdorf. But there is a bus right outside the hotel. It takes only a couple of minutes - and you get a card from the hotel - so no charge. Huge breakfast buffet, lovely staff and a really nice spa area. The hotel bar was also great. The only minus was that my room was in a corner and the amazing view from the balcony was a bit blocked.

Well, this is another excellent Best Western +. Service is as expected in Deutschland, efficient, friendly and professional. Breakfast is perfect, enough variety to serve even the most critical of guests. Everything farm fresh and delicious, well done! My husband and I stayed 5 nights in a terraced studio at an annex building 2 minutes from the main one. The room was spacious and had a walk-in closet which was extremely handy at the time. I thought that the team & the quality of the food at Franks was excellent. Also the accommodation was very good & the location in Oberstdorf was perfect. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay again.

We stayed as a couple for 4 nights with half board at Haus Alpensonne. We would have preferred to stay in the main building, as rooms were available, but you wanted an extra €80 for it. The beds were far too soft and worn out; a mattress change was definitely in order. Unfortunately, neither Sky nor DAZN were available in the bar, which was a shame, especially during the peak of the football season...

A cozy, comfortable hotel in a quiet location in Tiefenbach, 4 kilometres from Oberstdorf. Everything was perfect: the suite with a big balcony, fantastic breakfast and dinner, peaceful spa area, and above all the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel well taken care of. Booked a summer week here to go alpine hiking. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's in the middle of the nature, quite a bit away from the city. The staff is really nice and helpful. We especially enjoyed the dinners. The food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going here again.

It was just comfortable! Our breakfast was also great. Sure ... you have to share the toilets with others ... I imagined it to be much worse. You can see that everything was decorated with a lot of love. Gladly again!
