A nice hotel in a very nice old city. Directly located in the middle of the old city. Parking was easy on the location. The hotel has an old part and a newer part, and we had a room in the newer part. The room was large, clean and had a not so good view over the parking space and not over the city. Clean and tidy room. Hotel in a middle age style town. Helpful staff. €13 for car park in hotel. Nice restaurant in town. Breakfast was served with various food. I had dinner here too. Decent service and food.

A lovely place to stay! We loved the back story of the white stag. The staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Parking is behind and under the hotel.
Superb location right in the middle of town. A historically significant building that is well-maintained. The staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. It is a very, very quiet place as there is no vehicular traffic anywhere near. Occasionally there are sounds of people having fun and laughing outside, which is a really pleasant sound. There is much to see and do within easy reach
It was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!! It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! You can feel the Christmas in the air!!! It is 15 minutes from station, easy to find. Delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly!

The hotel was within easy walking distance to the castle, shopping, and great restaurants in old town.
Beautiful hotel with a castle view from the room. Everything is within walking distance. Rooms are very clean and staff is lovely and polite. Gets a bit loud since it's situated next to a fairly busy road but it's not a big deal. We rented the family room with kitchenette and it was nice and spacious. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for 4 nights, the location is strategic and comfortable
Stayed for 5 nights on a Great Rail Journey's holiday. A modern hotel that can cope with lots of large groups. Very comfortable rooms, good facilities. Self service restaurant food can be a bit hit and miss but generally good choice and value. Helpful staff and located within easy reach of the local attractions.
Nice hotel, nice staff excellent breakfast, comfortable room. It was very warm weather when we stayed and the only area that could be improved would be air conditioned rooms. I would stay again for sure.

But also, if you just want to relax and escape the stress of everyday life comes here at his expense. Despite the proximity to the city, our Harz houses are located in a quiet location on the edge of the forest of Wernigerode and invite you to linger in every season. Enjoy the first rays of sunshine on our spacious terrace with a nice cup of coffee or make yourself comfortable on colder days on the large corner sofa in front of the panoramic window.
The 2018 newly built cottages were furnished high quality and with great attention to detail. Despite the modern design, they do not lack comfort and coziness. With its 85 square meters each house offers enough space for a relaxing holiday.
All 3 cottages are designed for 4 people each. They are at ground level and have a modern bathroom with shower, and 2 separate bedrooms, each with a large double bed. The light-flooded open kitchen is fully equipped and allows you to cook at home. The loft-like living and dining area invites you to cozy cooking evenings. If you prefer to enjoy the evening sun with a relaxed barbecue, you will get your money's worth on the adjoining terrace with electric grill. For your entertainment you have a large flat screen with Smart TV, a radio and free Wi-Fi available.
You can store your bicycles in a separate bike room with a bicycle suspension, where you can also load your e-bike. Parking is available in front of the house.
On request, we are happy to provide a cot and a high chair for the younger guests.

The HarzHäuser are close to nature in a quiet residential area on the forest and outskirts of Wernigerode and are an ideal starting point for excursions in the varied Harz. The city center is within walking distance in just 10 minutes, various bakers, supermarkets and a bus stop are nearby.
A large adventure pool is just 2 km away and offers a large spa area with a sauna area, an indoor play area and a sports bar with a bowling alley.
