I think some of the comments here are completely untrue. It's hard to find a better hotel. The staff is always friendly, just like the Wieland family, and every request is taken into account. We've been returning to this hotel for years, and we all look forward to seeing you again. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, everything is top-notch. There's so much more to say, and everyone will recommend this hotel.

Clean and tidy room. Hotel in a middle age style town. Helpful staff.
€13 for car park in hotel.

Nice restaurant in town. Breakfast was served with various food.
I had dinner here too. Decent service and food.

A nice hotel in a very nice old city. Directly located in the middle of the old city. Parking was easy on the location. The hotel has an old part and a newer part, and we had a room in the newer part. The room was large, clean and had a not so good view over the parking space and not over the city. The room had room bar and wifi. Breakfast was good and with all options you wanted in the morning. In the evening the same area was a restaurant with very good food. The bar in the same area is open in the evenings and are a nice place to recap what you have seen during the day.

A lovely place to stay! We loved the back story of the white stag. The staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Parking is behind and under the hotel.

Superb location right in the middle of town. A historically significant building that is well-maintained. The staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. It is a very, very quiet place as there is no vehicular traffic anywhere near. Occasionally there are sounds of people having fun and laughing outside, which is a really pleasant sound. There is much to see and do within easy reach.

Very beautiful hotel located at the marketplace just vis-a-vis the beautiful town hall. Very quiet. Super friendly staff everywhere in this hotel. Very nice and big rooms (we booked comfort category) with direct view to the marketplace. Very good breakfast. The only we missed was a coffee machine in the room. However, there is probably not a better place to stay in Wernigerode. We also booked a welcome package with sparkling wine, chocolate, and fresh fruits, which is very recommended. We will definitely come back.

It was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!!
It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! You can feel the Christmas in the air!!! It is 15 minutes from station, easy to find. Delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly!
