The lady at the counter at the bowling arena is not customer-friendly. We wanted to return our pool sticks and equipment, but she was unavailable at the counter for 5 minutes and then later she was back after 5 minutes and she charged us extra for 5 minutes

Cosy hotel for families with young children!
Free cultural events in high season at the Kleinkunstbühne with pub.
Highly recommended as the whole landscape is cultural somehow "dead".
Empty streets in the evening in WR, GS, Bad Harzburg, Halberstadt etc.

Wonderful park, very nice set up just as on the pictures! We stayed in the area close to the woods which is the prettiest part but the other part is nice as well, just a bit further walk from everything.

The facilities are splendid: great indoor swimming pool, nice indoor playground with crafts every day around 10, fab bowling area with blacklight and music, little shop with mainly souvenirs, swimwear, fresh bread in the morning and also slay rental during winter.

Everyday a electric train leaves from reception towards the Wenigerode Castle (€8 pp return).

Multiple trails leave from the park including kids walk (märchenweg or something )

It's a bit far to the town centre, about 30 mins walk. ATM ca 20 mins and supermarkt 25 mins. Bus stop into town ca 5 min walk from reception (every 15 mins bus, we got free bus tickets from the park)

House very specious, convenient. Bit outdated but no problem to us.

Overall: GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!
only downside: nothing in English and missed some tourist recommendations for highlights and the like

Like many places in the area, it seems understaffed. But the staff is friendly and accommodating....2 years later...We stayed a week in the village. It's over priced and under staffed! The units are great, but for the price that we paid, it was disappointing. It's like an over priced Hostel. We paid extra for linen and the only things inside were 2 dishwasher tabs and 3 rolls of toilet paper. Not even hand soap. The sleeper couch is dated and and my 11 year old said that it smells like old man's armpits, and I can't disagree. For the price, there could be a little more. The biggest thing of all is that you have instructions to mostly clean the unit yourself before checking out. On the other hand, the staff is still very friendly and accommodating while still being understaffed!

Great place to stay in wernigerode. Rooms are more than awesome, staffs are very supportive and sweet. I just loved it.

As we arrived our house was very clean. We were welcomed in a pleasant way. Our house was quite close to the pool/bar/bowling/etc. But some houses are located pretty far away. The swimming pool is nice with a fun water slide, and it has an average size. The swimming pool is open till 22:00 o'clock.

Nice spot of nature if you’re nature lover and would like to run away from stress. The staffs gave me the feeling that they love their job and love to serve you. We have the Honeymoon room and I love it! It‘s worth for that money. 4 stars instead of 5 are just to give them a hint, next times at Christmas Buffet, just notice guests if they book the Christmas package that it wouldn’t be Christmas food because of children. For my feeling, Christmas Buffet was not as good as the buffet on normal day. We were a little disappointed but ok, they have all of the plus points from room, service and staffs.
